Description : I crafted this track entirely today. My aim was to capture a specific chill vibe, though it ended up differently than I originally envisioned. Nevertheless, I'm pleased with how it turned out. I played a Wurlitzer electric keys, drums, piano, a couple of bass guitars, and of course, the saxophone. What are your thoughts on it?Search Rating : 9.85

Description : Haunting instrumental, jazzy, hip hop track featuring guitar, saxophone, bass, and synths. If anyone has any vocal ideas (any style) I'd love to hear them. This track is in D minor. 80 bpm.Search Rating : 9.85
Description : Updated version of a previously posted track. Still not done, but I feel like I'm getting there. My idea is for each part to be it's own thing, kind of like a medley, but hopefully it'll all sound cohesive. It's primarily made with synths, but I want to include other instruments as well, hence the saxophone at around 0:58 (im open to feedback on getting a more realistic sax sound)Search Rating : 9.85

Description : I had groove in my mind and starting translating it on the keyz. It kind of went elsewhere in the end but its all good. :) I started by laying down some smooth chords, and then the bass line. I created the drum\percussion and after that brought out the baritone saxophone. I did some reverse engineering to my chords to create the pad and the rest is history. Whatcha think?Search Rating : 9.85

Description : Music composed by Alex Richard and Laurent Wirz. With: Hanspeter Dubach Lead and rhythm guitars, Alex Richard Bass and rhythm guitars, Claude Barbotte Hammond organ, Joël Perrin Saxophone and me at the drums. The two grooves I used for this one are to find under Loops and Sample, member laurentwirz, reggae. Also an excellent loop from member ebae. I have to say that I asked Michael Mayo before publishing it but I received no answer yet. It was pretty difficult with his acapella because it's a pretty short loop with not a lot of words (for an almost 5 minutes track)! You can ear also some background vocals from Patricia Edwards and I hope it's okay for her.Search Rating : 9.85

Description : A fat groove journey incorporating hip hop, jazz, rock and more. Chilled out and rocking, with some big riffs and basslines. The main instruments are saxophone, piano and cello plus some resonator guitar and banjo. Sax is the only instrument not played by me as the parts here were contributed a few years ago by a guy I know. Anything that sounds like distorted guitar is actually distorted cello. Loads of that, including solos, in the second half. No electric guitar or bass guitar. Not much synth work but there are two synth basses and an organ. Otherwise, it's quite an acoustic "played instruments" kind of sound. Lots of drums, including loops, multiple programmed acoustic kits and drum hits. I know Radiohead have an excellent song called Everything In Its Right Place but I still like my title and there's a story behind it (nothing to do with music). Interesting feedback appreciated. Description : ‘Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame’ is about resilience and hope. The track is based on (parts of) a saxophone-solo played by Sandro Marinoni in 2009 for the album Borderline (Stefano Carolo added electronic effects). Starting in january of 2014, I build a track around Marinoni’s solo. ‘Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame’ refers to the poetry-album by Charles Bukowski. The title was suggested by Dutch journalist Peter Pijls whose voice you can hear floating in and out the track. This music was inspired by an interview I did with Pijls (1965), a man who lost everything dear to him because of alcoholism and psychiatric disorders: wife, son and job. Smoking cost him both legs. He is on his way back now (check him out on FB and Twitter). Final mix was done during the dog days of july 2014 (MH17).Search Rating : 9.85

Description : Probably the greatest banj-metal-hiphop-jazz joint ever. With lead saxophone, house bass, rock and metal guitars, Eastern banjo, jazz and hip hop drums and a tasty dose of drum and bass thrown squarely in your face. You can headbang or throw some body-poppin hippity-hoppity shapes to this mofo, for real. A lot of genres covered in 7 minutes so hopefully the time will fly by. And, yes, there really is acoustic banjo as a lead instrument on top of some crunching and crashing metal guitar and drums. Long live Banj Metal!Search Rating : 9.85
Description : This track is heavily inspired by the the French noir movie Le Samourai (1967, Jean-Pierre Melville) starring Alain Delon as a lone wolf gun for hire in Paris. I wanted a melancholic, moody, big city-ambience, referring tot the solitude of the main character in the film. I could not get the track right untill I found the saxophone-solo's by Italian jazzplayer Sandro Marinoni who gave me permission to embed his fenomenal melodies in a rythmic, multi-layered structure. I am very grateful to Sandro and I expect to collaborate more often with him in 2013. The voice you hear in the beginning of the track is Alain Delon, citing (in an interview for French televison at the time of the premiere) the Book of Bushido, the code of honor for the Samourai. The English translation is: There is no greater solitude than that of the samourai unless it is that of the tiger in the jungle... Perhaps.Search Rating : 9.85
