Description : This is one of those songs that just puts a smile on your face! It's a country/pop track and features some smooth vocals by Astrid. I included some short Mellotron passages and I mixed this piece in 5.1 surround. Yes, it's a bit long, but when I tried to shorten it, I was removing something I liked, so I just kept it this way. Description : This may be a first for Looperman and one or two of you may even like it (but I doubt too many more will.) This is a New Orleans or Dixieland style jazz track and I don't believe I've ever heard this style here. Dixieland is one of the oldest styles of jazz in America (although they didn't call it this back then) and it's still quite popular in New Orleans. I had the pleasure of playing this style at Seville Quarter, Pensacola, FL., back in my younger years. I did this track for my 93 year old Uncle John, who loves Dixieland. Hope you like it.

Description : I'm going way back with this jazz jewel. The original version was released by Little Willie John in 1956, but the best known version, by Peggy Lee, was done in 1958 and covered by numerous artists. You older cats will definitely remember it. The singer didn't pan out, so if anyone would like to add vocals to replace brass, let me know. Hope you like.

Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.

Description : This is a real oldie but moldy! The original was done in 1890 and I doubt will be appreciated by the youngsters here. I've always loved this piece, so thought I'd put my own spin on it. It was quite a challenge, since it was in a time signature, 9/8, that I had never attempted before. Of course drums and percussion were never intended for this piece, but I'm a drummer, so what the hell. Hope you like and download if you do.

Description : If this isn't funk, than grits ain't groceries! If you're old enough, you may remember the Temptations. This track is my inspiration of this wonderful group's music with such songs a 'Psychedelic Shack' and 'Cloud Nine.' Unfortunately, this music is lost on today's artists, which is a shame, cause it was sooooo good! This track is not a recreation of the Temptations, but my inspiration of their style with my style thrown in. Hope you like it.

Description : When I first started playing drums, I saved my nickels and dimes and bought every Sandy Nelson album that came out. Description : This track is far removed from my usual. My knowledge of metal is limited to Black Sabbath's 70's album, "Paranoid" so some of you true metal heads may give a little snicker when you hear it. As a drummer, this track lended itself to some nice drumming, so I thought I'd expand my horizons and give it a try. I even threw in a little Goth!
