Good ambiance, nice piece of melancholic darkfolk, very usable in such compositions. More of that! Strydwolf

Hello InsaneSmile, i really like this sound. Nice feeling for the strums and also i like the texture of the sound. Very usable in a neofolk composition. Thanks for posting this. Greetings, Strydwolf

thanks, I wasn't sure about the pull off sound on some of the chord changes, I'm glad you like it though. It's surprising what a little reverb can do on acoustic instruments. Anyways thanks for the review.

Is it me or this sounds just a little bit like the melody of a song that was on the Transformers 2 movie?

This is a great idea, man. I'd love to see more people implement this kind of interchangeable-group thing. :) I'll be using these on a song.

Thank You, yes your right is made to go in the background. Made it a long time ago before I had really gotten the hang of my piano. Take a look at some of my new stuff though it put's this shit to shame.

I downloaded this back in the day. I love the remastering. It sounds even better. I want to thank you for keeping it simple. I don't have the means to make my own loops. Some of the loops that are posted on looperman sound great but they're too heavy. They limit what I can do. With loops like these; I can really have fun and make my own beat. Please keep the great loops coming!

Thank You, it's good to know people actually use the things I post on here. I typically try not to add to many effects to my loops, better that the composer add their own to best fit the song I say. Anyways thanks for the support.

Great loop, pretty little melody, and will make a great track, I will offer my opinion that it was a little dry (unless that was deliberate) for melodic trance, it could do to be more ethereal sounding and echoey/reverbey, of course the producer who downloads it could add it themselves, but they mostly want ready samples judging from my own loops and their downloads, they are going for all the ready mixed ones..
InsaneSmilie
InsaneSmilie replied Unknown
It's true, most of my loops are dry. My philosophy is that it's easy to add effects like reverb and delay, but very difficult to remove them. The effects are for you the composer to add, it gives the most flexibility that way. Thank you for the review.

Nice, i might use this with some other stuff and make a chill-out song. I only started using ACID like 2 days ago, so it might take a while lol.
InsaneSmilie
InsaneSmilie replied Unknown
ACID is good, I find it has some of the best recording tools, and gives alto of flexibility in the way edit. Try messing around with effect automation and enveloping, one of the best tools is ACID, and thanks for the review.
