Ableton 9 suite, but I'm pretty sure any full DAW will work the same. I just used random drum samples from free packs for the most part. Other than that, it's just a kick, a snare, 1 hi hat, 3 open hi hats, a triangle, and an 808 (I think that's it).
For 808--Use compressor and distortion as needed
For kick--Compressor and distortion as needed
You should probably use EQ on everything, at least that's what I do
On the hi hats I changed the velocity on the rolls, that's what makes them sound kind of far away
And then mastering ofc is very important. Use a multiband compressor on the master track and that should be pretty good.
Can't really think of anything else, but I learned a lot of the stuff I use from youtube videos, so you should do some research. I highly recommend Internet Money for tutorials
