It's used in a lot of Modern Dubstep. "Nasty" is a great example.

I got the stab from Cymatics trap city sample pack and then added a crap ton of effects and pitch automation.

All of it was made in Reason 5 (using Malstrom with some modulation, distortion and Fx) and processed in Ableton (Eq, comp, saturation, MB, OTT)
