I see I messed up a sentence lol. *The first 2 albums I wrote used loops from here, though I took them down for copyright reasons. I needed to find some inspiration for the current one.
I haven't been on Looperman in years, but I used to use this site all the time. The first 2 albums I wrote I needed to find some inspiration for commercial project that I'm starting and the piano sample in this is absolutely perfect. If I'm able to use it I'll DM you about production credit :)
Love this Pad sound. Wish I knew how to get a sound like this myself in Mixcraft.
I do wish there was a non-looping version as well that just let the tail of it go all the way, because there's a huge buildup by the final note and it's definitely noticeable when it just cuts off suddenly.
Stumbled across this again while trying to find several loops I used in a song years ago. Lost everything on my harddrive about 6 months ago but the loops in the version I uploaded on youtube are all credited to you, so I figured this'd be the best place to find them. I still absolutely love this guitar loop. I did end up writing a song to it that was based on the video game Fallout 3, but I don't know if I have the copy that uses the guitar loop or if that's gone. I re-arranged it on Piano and such using a variation of this same rhythm but I still love this original guitar loop.
Here it is if you're curious as to what originated with this guitar loop:
Wow, that is possibly the best sounding guitar synth I've ever heard. What's the name of it? I'd absolutely pay for that lol. The only thing that seems to be missing is that the notes should still resonate.
As for the loop itself, it's excellent. I like the finger-picking style and the chords sound great too. I haven't heard the song it goes with, but I may come back to this and check it out after work. This loop sounds like it'd be a great melody. :)
Glad you like the loop. The loop was created for Keyah who is a pro recording artist on Looperman. She lost a loop that she had used in one of her recordings a few years ago and asked for some one to re-create it from the original recording. The original loop was recorded using a synth or a mixture of bass acoustic and acoustic guitar. I re-recorded it using my acoustic guitar as close as possible to the original loop. The origanal loop had no decay on the guitar. If you go to http://www.reverbnation.com/dqmkproductionz/song/17358692-give-it-to-me you will hear the original recording.
Holy. Those harmonics are absolutely and utterly gorgeous. I could listen to playing like that for hours. Fantastic loops. The natural reverb sounds great and doesn't sound odd when looped, which is a plus. Thank you for taking the time to create and share these great loops with the site! I say this a lot with guitar loops, but I really think I need to do something with these.
I really love this dry acoustic set that you did. All of them are fantastic. The chord progression is really nice and works for a variety of different types of music. I'd really like to see you upload more loops like this because I really enjoy your playing style. :)
I used this one, as well as "Downed" and "Chilled Pick" in a song that I've uploaded here. :)
This is possibly the most random question I've ever asked on Looperman. Might I be allowed to use this sound in RPG Maker? lol Seriously, I think this would be an epic introduction to some kind of boss fight in a video game.
While Dubstep itself is not my favourite genre, I find this loop addicting. I've started making loops myself in the time that Looperman was down, primarily drum and piano stuff, but try as I might I can't make anything that sounds like this (I love heavy sounding beats... I don't wanna say it's dirty, because that's not the word I'm looking for, but it's got a very hard hitting sound), and I love the loop. A simple but effective drum pattern that I might like to use in a project. One of those drums loops that I think could be used for literally anything, intro, mid-song, outro, or whatever. Very useable, and very good quality. Thanks :)
Absolutely love it. Might use it in a track if you don't mind. hard to find good guitar loops that have actual strums in them and aren't just midi guitar. Thank you for posting this.
I would just like to say that I think this entire loop set is extremely nice and could be used for a multitude of track styles. You picked your effects really well and the guitar is just as the title says, inspirational. I'd like to try and use them on a track if you don't mind. :)
You said it was after watching a documentary on Nuclear Fallout, right? The start of it does remind me of Pink Floyd's "Goodbye, Blue Sky"... any intentional homage there? lol. Awesome guitar loop none the less. I may have to use this. :)
Absolutely. Yes please.
It's part of my evil scheme to upload lots of amazing loops, so music starts to sound like me, and thus... something I can relate too.... or something lol
Love this guitar loop... love the second part that goes along with it as well. Reminds me a little of 3 days grace, I can see it leading into something heavy. >=]
Thank you for posting this, I'd love to use it in a song of my own, if that's alright. Please don't stop posting loops. I've gotten quite a few of your guitar ones (the languish series) and I love your pad and drum loops :)
Just for the record I think this entire set sounds amazing. Can see it either being used in a great DnB (I think Pendulum) mix, and oddly with female vocals, and yet also in an RPG, as it reminds me a lot of the game Chrono Trigger. The loops create a brilliantly tense atmosphere while conveying a-lot of emotion. Awesome loops.
yeah, usually I upload several loops from one recording session ... so it's easy to combine, cut and rearrange them, makes them more flexible to use!!
thx for downloading!!
Beautiful but simple strum pattern. I really want to work with this, if that's okay with you. I've actually been looking for some good strum patterns on here and I've had a hard time finding them so thank you for posting one. It loops fantastically, btw :D
I have to leave a second comment because of this... it'll probably get deleted though. I happened to flip to another page momentarily while I was streaming the loop and saw this going in time to the loop, then cracked up.

On a random note, both this and the first one sound a lot like Pieces by Sum 41.
