takes me on a beautifully sounding journey
sweet piano track and also the effects are subtle but effective.
strings are again insanely pretty-sounding and the "spacey" synth with lots of reverb also stood out positively, lending vastness to the atmosphere.
last but not least the drm/perc arrangement is very fitting and has enough variation where called for.
mix-wise it's gentle on the ears. light but not thin and coherent but not monotonous.
another amazing track to relax to, congratulations Leon!
How many of those sounds do you record live? Only reason I ask is because I don't have the best plugins/microphone for recording live audio and could use some pointers
What a comeback song Leon!!! :-)
So moody, progy and wonderful as all of your tracks ...
give us more about your limitless talent in the short future ...
faved, downloaded of course ...

Danke
The title is truly appropriate. The intro synth is very lunar, but the main body is very grounded and down to Earth. Then the pads/keys at about the three minute mark usher us out on a stellar breeze. As if to float along on a ribbon of reality somewhere between a dream and a memory.
Beautiful work as always.
Do be away so long next time, my friend. ;)
Take care.
Aaron
Thank you so kindly Aaron...always a great pleasure to hear from you although I know it's been a long time since we last talked. Anyway I will be around here more often in the future...that's almost a promise..:)
nice chillout piece bro, great my two favourite instruments piano and guitar, the strings are sparkling too great production and execution of space and depth, drum track is on point too, making a statement yet never claiming the limelight, great return Orlando
Hey man, it's been a hot minute since I've seen you here! I've been busy away for some time myself! Love this song, takes me back to the earlier days of Looperman for sure! Keep it up man, cheers!
Hello Leon
I listened to some of your tracks and I liked them all. You do an excellent work. I will specially mention the strings and the guitar that give you a sound of your own. Secret Garden is what came in my mind, yet in your own way.
I wish you the best, Anthony
Welcome back orlando. And yes it has been a while indeed. Hope you have been doing well lately. And this is a very nice track to listen to. It has some good vibes to it. Which i can always appreciate. Even soothing in a way. So well done indeed. Good to have you back. Have a good one & one love, Verdi
Total relaxation. The violin, actually the whole track has something comforting and gentle about it, you feel safe, if I may say so. The title somehow suggests that, I think. Really beautiful work, Leon.
Cheers, Micky
that is exactly the type of track i need at the moment.
so calming, it's settling my nerves and makes me feel grounded.
the arrangement feels natural and all the sounds are balanced and mixed together well.
is the electric guitar sampled and you programmed the melody?
or even synth? either way, it flows smoothly and sounds great - gives me some vai vibes. the drum + percs sound excellent as well.
piano at 3:47 is exactly what was needed now. i would maybe even add another melody on the piano after the first bar or two, make it into moving intervals/chords or maybe an arp going with the guitar. it's not needed at all, just some thoughts i had. but i tend to overdo it anyway... :P
i enjoyed listening - wonderful stuff!
hallo Leon!
already loving this after 10 seconds and can say these will be some yummy strings. going to F# instead of C# was a pleasant surprise.
guitar fits very well, did you record this guitar phrase? it's constant rhythm is guiding the rest nicely as we wait for the percussions.
the solo bowed instrument is insane, what is it? did you have to program this or even play it?
here comes the beat now, digging the flow.
i am sitting in my chair comfortably at 1:40 AM and getting carried away by your lovely music. it has a meditative effect and helps me relax and focus - thanks.
oh also, is it possible to see the picture this was based on? i already was creating an image in my head and it could be fun to compare it to the actual thing you used as inspiration.
andreas vollenweider the harp player also used to hang images and paintings in the studio when they were in a creative phase and looking for inspiration. and clearly it worked like a charm. :)
glad to catch up slowly. this is already super nice and i can't wait to listen to more if it's all of such high quality.
impressive work my friend, very well done indeed
hello Orlando
this sounds wonderful and stays interesting throughout. very good attention to detail and every part adds up to a very smooth and nicely flowing arrangement. it's a pleasure to listen to for me.
i wish someone would sing to this, some great combination could be found i believe. maybe i'll try but i don't have high hopes :P
