This song has creditable potential for sure. Love your singing styling and voice. Would love to do a colab with you on this one and would love to hear any other acoustic songs you have like this even if there in the rough stages. Not sure what info I'm supposed to leave so hope this will do.

This is a really heartfelt song you have written. It is delicate and emotional. Very nice lyrics and they are well delivered. The piano is always great to hear, even if only with just the vocals. Listened on my headphones, mix is ok, could use a little eq work, monsterage had a good idea by watching the sibilance, maybe add some de-esser to the vocals. Do you use a pop filter in front of your mic when you sing? If not I recommend buying or even making one.
I really need to start studying up on EQ and the like. I have very little experience/training when it comes to that kind of stuff. As far as the pop filter, I need to get a new one for sure. Thanks for your comments!
sounds amazing i would also recommend killing the s's or cutting a little on high frequencies... you can also hear your lips, but for this song i think they go perfect cause it feels personal and emotional... anyways its amazing and loved the piano btw! :)
...
Austin , first I wanted to write U should sing closer to microphone ..& also to suggest U always pay attention to your music wave diagram and never let diagram to be steady & montonous & fine drawn ...
but....
no...
I think I was wrong to say them ...
cause U sung such by all your heart , such impressive & frank , that all my words became silent & prefered reticence just to can listen & focus on your simple but heartfelt song ...
thnx for download premission & letting me enjoy this later too more & more ...
and just according to your desciption I'm trying to be usefull as a listener if I want to suggest U to add a sax , or even a cello to this ...
but anyway I should confess that I was surprised by U & your tallents ...
all the best...___Behnam
Thank you for both your praise and criticism. I will definitely keep your tips in mind next time I am recording. I definitely have a lot to learn as far as recording, mixing, and mastering.
You have such a great voice and it's beautifully recorded too. Lovely song and excellent production. Love the feel - you clearly have put a lot of effort into the track. Well done, great job.
wow...so much heart put into this. This is amazing man. You have a wonderful voice too. The second this started playing i was hooked. very very good.
keep it up.
The song has potential. I think you did a great job singing and the piano playing. You need to get the fish half of it loud enough to hear. in other words you mix down need improving. I like the song really I do. Please do not take any offense to my comments.
I'm not sure if this song needs drums or more instruments...this is stunning on it's own...if there is some techinal problem, we have to lift ourselves up on them cause this is one of the most beautiful song I, (we) ever heard here...
The reverb shows up when you are not singing, you didn't edit that out
before the Mix...If you still have the tracks, that can still be done...
It would really put your voice and keyboard in the right Space...
Sounds like you have the basis of a really cool track here. Will be nice to hear it with the drums worked in for some kick.
In the production, I heard a lot of background noise. Kinda like it was playing on an actual record. Not sure what it was but it really distracts from the song. Plus, the volume seems really low so when you hit the vocal peaks, it gets really loud. Piano sounds good.
Smooth everything out and get the drums your after and this has real commercial potential. Good luck.
LOL, your lyrics are hilarious. But still made sense...LOL if i was drinking something, the end would of made me spit it out. ha Great work here. peace
Ok Austin you have a good voice in the soft sounding department, but can you belt it out for the chorus. The song lacks a significant chorus that will blow away the listener. If (as my spidey sense tells me) you have that kind of voice you can make this song into a memorable pop tune.
lets see what happens.

I hope you get the additional instrumentation you're looking for as I think the vocal here is really good.
Kick drum seems kind of out of time and the other instrumentation is very basic - a bit like a rough demo just tracking the chords of a song.
But the lead vocal has a lot of soul and emotion behind it. Second vocal (female) works really too.
This would sound pretty good as just an acapella.
There's a lot of potential with this track. Did you write it? Did you sing it?
"The night is upon us now" is a good chorus line.
Best of luck.
