just thought i would return the favor and check some of ur stuff and im pretty surprised.
When the beat starts u get a pure motivator and alot 2012-2013 style energy is transported in my opinion, but the singing vocals give a surprising smooth contrast in its 90-ish melancholic way.
Then we have the rap which works timeless.
In my head i reference it to boomfunkmc who had his time along time ago, the whole way over 2 machine gun kelly today.
i cant say alot about the mixing because i sadly right now dont have the option to listen to it with anything but some trashy earphones.
Well thats how i feel about ur track, with that thing said i did enjoy ur track, keep on bro!
Thanx a lot for the feedback & the references.
As i didn't know them (nor boomfunk mc nor machine gun kelly) you made me discover new artists, and i guess i understood why you named them.
That beat doesn't exactly belong to the usual genre i'm used to make, and that's precisely why i wanted to have some feedback on it - & i certainly got it, thank you Sir !
Wow. This surprised me. A lot. I normally don't listen to a lot of Looperman tracks due to lack of creativity, (You know what I mean.) But this, this is pleasant, good speed, and sounds professionally made. Keep up the good work!
I don't really agree with you about creativity on looperman. There are some really good tracks around here in my opinion, and no creativity lack overall (i mean some artists may sound more creative than others to me for sure, but i think opinions may be as various as listenners concerning an artist creativity).
Pleasantly surprising! I expected that it would be loud to the point of wanting to turn it off, but it was pretty well balanced. The autotuned vocals bothered me slightly, but did not take much away from the overall track. I like the arrangement and the mixing. Fun to hear!
Thank you for taking the time to listen and drop a comment.
I feel like i'd have to make something (but i don't know what yet) about the chorus to make the track better. But i'm still glad the overall "works". Thanx again.
the combination of electronic & hip hop bounces this one to a new level deopi...I can`t claim a lot of knowledge in either genre but its obvious you have put lots of thought into the arrangement...the fairly hard limiting seems to suit the genre & get some of that big power into the mix ...nice job on the production...enjoyed the listen...Ed
Thanx a lot for the listenning and the feedback Ed.
I can't claim neither a lot of knowledge in dubstep nor house (a bit more in hip hop), but these accaps made the track alive like i'd never expect. These K19 & Steklo guys are killers.
Wow, this sounds good :) The vocal sounds quite professionally-mixed and the accompanying music is very high-quality and sounds quite good when paired with the rapping voice. I think the only thing is that the chorus could be a tad stronger, either through use of harmonies. Not quite sure, but this song is definitely one of the best in the Electronic genre I've heard on Looperman. Great work.
Thanx a lot for your encouraging comment Brado. I composed some strings for chorus, but i felt it was better without it.
I may try to think about a way to make it stronger.
