i do really like this tune....but that synth stab needs to come down in the mix..just a bit too loud! will make it much much nicer to listen to..maybe try changin some of the notes with it to a melody to give the song more depth..sounds a wee bit too much like.. JX Son of a gun at the mo..This can be an awsome tune tho!! with a bit of work...

on Pulpitations by bigemm1
Pulp fiction is one of my all time favorite movies!!

This track sounds top-notch man. Everything that's in it sounds real tight. However, I think maybe there should be a little more melody to it. If ya added that to it..it would be "blow yer mind, killer"

Good job man!

Thanks man. To be honest, this was kind of a rush job. I didnt give it my all. I heard a great tune with the fight club rules in it. It was such a classy touch, Worked really well with the track. I had alot of pulp fiction wavs and knew that they would work. Someday im gonna do it again but with alot more thought next time. With a big melody and pumping bass. Im giving FL studio a go now. Completly different to ableton. I had a play about with FL and its grabbed me by the balls. I have to master this program. Thanks for the great review and understanding this was a rush job. I will check out some of your stuff.. Massive respect.

I dig this a lot.

I like dJcLiFf's idea.

Damn too much cheesy :D The progression was way to short and changing fast didn't like it much maybe double time is better in the middle it went better but the bass needs boost imo ^^ Later on it gets too messy adding sound upon sound. But nice again
bigemm1
bigemm1 replied Unknown
You dont like cheese with your toast?? LOL! Cheesy i know. I was playing about with the string section in Ableton and put a few thing together.. I didnt think i'd turn it into a track but unfortunatly i did. lol. I dont think its that bad.. the right kinda night, the right crowd.... who knows.. No more cheesers from me.. thanks dud for your honest review.. Peace.

Well i expected some real trance but that was more like minimal..Nice bassline and kick, good quality and mastering. In 1:40 you used some variation didnt like it after the break it came in so nicely that i loved it. Whenever i start writing before finishing the song i write a lot :D

Overall nice track with amazing quality, enjoyed it

Thanks for your review. I spent some time working on the bridge after the first break and i know what you are saying.. I tried god know how many combo's but nothing sounded right. I settled with what you heard. Im not too happy with the bridge but i just wanted to get this one finished. The more i listen to it the more i like it. Im listening to pure trance madness... very cool. You like your trance hard dude. quality work bro. liking your style. Thanks for the review.

Good job man, sounds like my Vrydaynights 5FM. Love the aprigators. Where dit you get the speech from? And the title suits the track.
bigemm1
bigemm1 replied Unknown
I got the speech from Proloops.com. There isnt alot of speech ar acapella's on there. Kinda hard to find. Sometimes speech suits a track more than vocals. An idea i had was maybe to download some kinda wierd ebook. Maybe i can get something outta that, you know. Thanks for your comments, im going to check out some of your tracks. Respect.

The bass synth you use in the beginning I would love to hear go like 1,2,3,4,5,6,(drop one step), (drop 1/2 step), (original), 2,3,4,5,6 (same), (same). As if that made any sense at all (LOL)! I enjoyed the flow of the track, and the arps kept it interesting! Fun and very dancy! I almost fell out my chair groovin! kEePbAnGiN

Im keeping my ear on looperman for a good piano loop. Im a big fan of Robert Miles, Children. What a tune. I dont think that one can be repeated but hey wh not give it a go. Thanks again. Respect.

good work man, i need to check out that ableton program sometime... how is the learning curve?
bigemm1
bigemm1 replied Unknown
jlaw.. you have to check out ableton. I also have fruity loops 8. I find ableton alot easier to work with. Although i think you possibly can do more actual making and building on fruity loops but its the way the ableton program works that keeps me on it. I can make my loops using fruity, convert them to wav and use them in ableton. Im surew you know how to get a hold of ableton. You know... The program is called.. Ableton Live 7. Learning is the best part. Thanks for the review. Respect.

Thanks for using my loop I always wonder what people do with my loops, so it is great to hear you loops in someone elses song.

bigemm1 replied Unknown
Thanks for the review Travis. Im sure its interesting to hear what other people do with the loops you put on here. Your one of me fav top 3 here on looperman. You keep the rocking loops coming and i'll keep doing my thing. Naming my tracks is a problem for me. I was going to name it after your loop but thats your name. lol. Thanks again Travis. I will check out your tracks also. Respect.

I like it!! Good work, and catchy too! Like the strings in there. Think about a shorter intro though...I almost turned it off waiting for something new to come in then it did..!! Keep the listener hangin on...coz theres some really cool stuff comes in!!

bigemm1 replied Unknown
Thanks for the review. It was the goa loop that caught my attention. I really liked the sound so i tried to work around that. maybe i will make my intro's a bit shorter next time. I appreciate your comments. Thanks again. I will check out some of your tracks. Thanks again. Respect.
