Man, this is really good. Vocals are great, lyrics are not empty. There is feeling in this. Reminds me a bit of Third Eye Blind. Very nice to hear something like this. You made my evening, and the track has been buried for 5 years.
The kick and the vox seemed to make the track clip a lot, but I really like what you've got here.
I saw your profile pic and said HOLY S**T THAT'S ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES! Seriously, I love 6 string samurai, and the music was great too.
Anyway, really digging the track as well. I love how the strings have such a light touch to them. the beat is really fantastic as well and the whole thing is really upbeat! What software are you using? It reminds me of almost of the score to this quirky game I once played called Katamari Damacy, the premise was strange (but fun) but the soundtrack was so good I had to buy it! Great fusion of electronic and ochestral sounds.
wow! good to know there are other people knowing this weird movie - i like the story of how 6 strings samurai was made almost as much as I like the movie itself. thank you for your review - I've been using the simplest Acid Pro 3.0 for 7 years by now.
Hey Man! This is definitely a house track filled with lots of feeling and unique sounds! Like what you've done with it!
I get vibes of some melancholy and anticipation for the return of those great summer days.
Keep up the good work man!
I like it! It does sound like winter turning into spring. I particularly like the strings at the beginning it sounds like little birds fluttering. Then the oboe has another spring element to it.
Have you thought of building on the song by adding different instruments that have sounds like the wind blowing, butterflies on the flute randomly drifting in and out?
Then building with each spring instrument until you give the feel that all of nature has joined in the welcome spring.
Then for an ending all the instruments on a victorious positive note with reverb added on the last note to give it a feeling of spring being here for awhile.
thanks for your review and suggestions! I used to be a fan of adding ambient sounds to stress the atmosphere of a track, but somehow i came to being quite minimalistic. in the end if the day it's listeners imagination that is being sparkled by the music - while you hear birds singing, one hears the raindrops, metling snow of feels the delicate sun stroking. I love the picture you draw - and those imaginary birds of yours surely sound better than anything I could add here myself.
I really appreciated the slight blue notes from the paddish synthy thingy.
Really cool.
I dig yer vibe man, and in fact, it's a lazy friday at work, so this track is smoooooth.
I would love to hear that delay :/ throw it on that piano!
I also.. and I am just thinking.. on the bass? If it's possible you should throw a filter on it, and slowly up the frequency and resonance so it becomes more peripheral and focused?... That's just a thought.. dunno if it would work heh.
definitely rocking those drums. they sounds spot on. I like the jazzy sound to those chords you have as the base. Everything you have built round them is just perfect. Some lovely tones in there, layered with skill. i really dig it.Fav
Not too bad. Like the bass kick. Think it could do with a little variation in the percussion. Does have a summery vibe and I can imagine some Diva singing over the top of this. I think your synth and piano could use a little fx (delays) giving them a bit more depth and a little more dimension. Good effort!
good track man, i would think this is more electronic or chill out, but other than that, lay back high as a kite and this stuffs perfect!! like the work. nice simple beat too, well done.

Great job Oleg, great arrangments good sounding mix, I find the voice could be a bit more present in the mix its a bit behind, but the rest sounds great, great groove, sorry it took so long to review I'm really busy these days with my 2 radio shows on mixposure.com mixradio and doing my tracks, I'm way behind in posting them to Looperman wanted my play count to go over 5,000 and its hard when you always delete old tracks to put new ones in you lose all your spins for that track but I did it so new track are on their way, you can check them out at http://www2.mixposure.com/bands/3447/index.php

Again bravo for your great work on this really sounds full on my sound system.
Wow, very well done. The vocals are very well recorded!! The music sounds just as top-notch! Together you guys created a killer rock song. Put this on the radio man..thats where it belongs!

Great collaboration! This song has a solemn feel too it. Even thought there was a language barrier all the elements seemed to have come together well. I like the rotary effect that was used on the guitar at the beggining. I can really feel the passion in the vocals and instrumentation.
Hard to know what to say without repeating what others have already spoken about this track. The production is excellent and the melody is moving. Nice work!

I know this is a bit old, and I plan on checking out yer new one Kite.
Just gotta say off the top, it reminds me a little bit of Kruder and Dorfmeister, and thus, gets a large endorsement from me :D
I really enjoyed the flutes and the shuffle.. somehow both drum patterns together just created this magic.
Piano
everything
This must be enjoyed with cold beverages.
