I know about tough times.. and music has been a remedy too for me... was in the past and still is.. use it for a bad day at work now.. or jus something to get out my feelings... strangely enuff I had a "craving" for jungle beats recently and came across ur shit... and now its on my ipod!! lol... ive been wanting to upload my music to this site but I cant figure out how.. Id like u to hear some of it.. if your down.. drop me a line my email is oliverstiebel@hotmail.com
Thanx bro. it's been a min since i been on here. I feel like i've neglected everyone cuz i was slightly obsessed 4 a while with uploading tracks, wich is good. I'm coming back though. yeah this track was a lot of fun.I'm going to production school soon. im not uploading 4 a while though. I have a lot of new programs to become familiar with.
this tracks sounds nice and chilled. The sounds work good together, but what tempo do u write your tracks at?
try boosting the tempo more, i wanna hear a version of up to about 170 bpm at least i reckon it would be quite cool..
Absolutely amazing, IMO. As I've said before, all your tracks are brilliant pieces of art. The flow is tight and the vibe is, well, its perfect. Unite the Music.
Beanut, we are definitely homies for life, for real. I could most certainly hear the heartache coming through on this ill track and knowing your friends are here when you need them is total inspiration. I've got nothin but love for ya. Keep doin yo thing and you know Im always on the loop, making crazy ass beats. Hit me up bro.
Testing .... 1, 2, 3 ... Is this thing on ? S**t man, blowing minds again and again with your styles ... always look forward to hearing new stuff from ya cause I know its gonna be some proper stuff and this is a prime example of your tim, creativeness and effort. 10/10
Whats up beanut? I have to say, this track "caught my ears." The drums are a bit dirty and i like that in DnB tracks, yes i'd have to agree the tempo would be better increased but over all i digg it! Keep On Doin!
I've got nothing man - 100% unique creativeness and you got mad talent to boot and since you sent this to my email, I've been listening to it everyday on my cellphone on my 20 minute break - it makes my day go by smoothly. I have nothing to critique cause in my eyes, its f-ing perfect. Fav'n this ( along with many of your other tracks ).
For some reason just knowing that u would like this enspired me to make it. I was searching 4 some outlet to take the heaviness off my shoulders and i guess having a virtual friend was what helped me get through all this shit. I'm glad u finally came around. I was wondering where the hell u were. Did u get a chance to chek out "SELF MEDICATED" Well when u do just know that i'm a giant cheez ball and i'm not afraid to admit it. I'm dramatic i know, truth amd honesty are words to live by. I meant what I said. Would a professional baseball team ever get payed what they do if they had no fans or cheerleaders, i think not. I cut our friendship short by choosing the word "virtual", it just seemed to fit. I am your friend...and not virtually...trully....!
I cruise the streets in the rain compulsively living in the northwest of the united states, and this will lay nicely on my ipod as i cruise the shit town lights, and the rain get's in my eyes.
nice!
i love the feel of it (and i typically prefer more morbid sounding/sad sounding music) but i love it! I enjoyed reading your responses to the reviews, you have a great sense of depth, and lot of talent!
Well of course, in all practical realitles, a rainforest is where u live. Which is why i thought the track would appeal to u. Eventhough the track was called, raining in England, I imagined Seatle,or,Portland,or even Ashland. etc...I'm a traveler too u know. My brother is still up there somowhere. His name is ZETH. He has a G13 license and is a completete idiot. I learned and decideed to conform...well...slightly...
good stuff!

sorry to hear about the loss... loss sucks :(
i've lost a lot of friends, but never any blood.
i can't really think of anything to say that wouldn't feel stupid

u know i could ask u the same thing "Did u ever think of getting signed". I'm just a beginer though, i just have skills with a sequencer. U know all the technical stuff. I realy think we could all have a great vactation somewhere and not need a lot of $$$$$. Apparently we're all bums or at least used to b bumms. Lets wake up a little bit of the past and see what happens, im sure Clay doesn't care... as long as we have free beer he's there. lol. Lets party and lay some tracks down..Like I said.."Fantasy Island"
Thanks for your concern and support. Yeah I go off on tangents sometiimes. since we're on fantasy island, lol, If we ever get the chance to drink a few rounds we need to bring JDOT and CHEEVUZ their my only friends on this site they both rock. I think u could use CHEEVUZ for an MC on a couple of your tracks he just out of the blue downloaded one of my songs "LIFE OF A BUNNY" and sent me an amazing rap over it about the life and death of a mislead porno starr. if u want u can send me your email and i'll send it to u. U should check their stuff out.I'm heading over to your profile now. cheers
God,the album art just made me need to check out this track!
I love what u have done.Art and music go together, hand in hand,And your INTEReSTING pic is what drew me in.The music was totally a bonus!Fab!!
That pic is actually me but i promise im not that ugly. I was just havn fun. I always make funny faces. So apparently my plan worked perfectly as i lured u in on my handsome portrait. lol. Thanxx i made u for u guys to enjoy.
Well i dont think its cheezy at all...lol!The above review says it pretty good."spastically chilled out and a riper at the same time. The bass/drum line that comes in at 2:50 is spot on.From a creative perspective it truly shows talent that you can incorporate a little folk progression into this and chop it (in key 2!)the way you did.I may be biased but cheers on this and thank you

I dont care if i get another review. Yours was the one i was waiting 4. Im glad u liked it. I'd like to hear what others have done with your samples. In the "Sample based production world"lol, a good track is only as good as its sample. It was an honor.....
Interesting use of the rain sample in the background. I think the some elements of the track sound pushed back in the track and the one of the guitars can be brightened slightly while using a roll off of the low frequency. Good work and catchy hook nontheless.
I totally agree about the guitar being pushed back. I couldn't let it be any more pronounced though cuz It was already hell trying to get it to match up. Im speaking of the lead, or higher pitched guitar sounds by the way.I could only use the begining and the end of the sample, the middle just wouldn't work. Good f#$@n ear though. Im so glad I actually had someone realy listen and comment appropriatly. U win first prize for probably one of the first PROPPER reviews.
well the main thing i did, was i went into the guitar sample and stretched it vert' and horiz' so I could see the most pronounced notes or strums. Then I erased the begining and the end of each note and anything inbetween so their was no attack or cutoff really. Then i could virtualy compose with the reamining notes and strums. I butchered anything soft or slow, it was the only way it would work. Then i figured out what each key was and or how many steps it raised or dropped and and coppied the new rhythm with what ever sounds i chose. That was the foundation and the rest was being creative with the "bells and whistles" and where i thought they should go. U should listen again though cuz the intro has a lot of new samples that added a much stronger vision of what my idea was. I've changed and uploaded several times since the first, It's a work in progress. Thankx 4 ur review. I'll be the first to admit it is kinda cheezy but i live 4 cheez. LOL
Really sorry to hear about your families loss. Life can suck sometimes, but we gotta keep living to the fullest. If for nothing else, for those who have gone before us. Keep banging out those nasty jams man.
Thanks for the review and for the cute comment. I have a friend who has a bunny and it was actually a ploy to get her to check my music out so i told her i made a song about bunnies. It worked.lol
