My friend, this does really kick ass (not so much your grandma). Just feel that there are a few elements missing? I think the mix needs addressing because the levels seem a little bit all over and maybe add another bride / chorus change? Just my opinion.

Anyways, a good tune that got me headbanging and enjoying!

I agree with Michael, I'm a fan of bootlegs, so this is fine with me. There are prob some people on this site with the skills to clean the track up quite a bit, maybe alividlife, but there should be a few.

That is if you're so inclined

Keep them coming, My Friend

Wow man this has just blown my head up, which is excellent! A real hell of a lot going on in this track. Like the various VOX samples and the sub bass. A beast of a guitar thrown in as well all adding up to a great piece of Industrial music! Quality work my friend! Much respect and faved.

some nice ideas... would probably fit more into industrial than dnb but I'm not the genre police so I wont call ya on it... the metal guitar remind me very much of what alividlife is doing at the moment death/thrash metal mixed with dnb.. over all I enjoy the listen.. keep 'em coming brother

eyemgun is epic too..

Hmmn.

Yeah. Something like that ....
Whatever the hell you were doing at the beginning with the phasing was EPIC with headphones on.

You know.. If you do drop something with eyemgun or throw some other melodies, I think what it needs is some droning. But that's just me. I like that kinda Deftones thing where they draw the crap out of an arrangement by just playing a note for like 30 seconds lol.

But regardless... Like I said before. You make the music I wish I could.
Damn you.
Damn you to hell.
And keep it up!
Faved, and downloaded.

sweet glad you like it, yeah i love making it, i just couldnt stand to let others make it, when i knew i was having ideas before people on the radio and MTV and such i was like yeah, i need to keep making music, but it took me forever to get all the tools (which i dont really have enough of the right ones still) but i think most opf the stuff i've learned came from having to work around and make due, so the longer i suffer from not having the proper equipment, the better ill get haha! as for the deftones, yeah the rocked, another band i liked but never listened to alot, i try not to submerse to much into certain bands cause i know they would have a everlasting impact on me creativly that would be hard to mask, non the less, I CANT STOP, so have no fear haha

thanks bro, i love people who love my stuff as much as i do, im not conseided its just equivalant to making your own fantasy girl, not many can do it, so when you do, you tend to really enjoy them...
(i know horrible analogy right? no i have not made any fantasy woman, yet)

as for sound stuff, it keeps getting more crappy as i get more elaborate, so i may have to delve into higher technologys soon...

Sounding great as all your tracks do,but think this ones crying out for some vocals to bring it all together.what do u use to get your great guitar sound as well.
digitalenigma0
digitalenigma0 replied Unknown
yeah im there with the vocals but im still figuring out what i think it calls for..
For the guitar i use a digitech GNX3 with a custom effect and a ibanez gio, i started out with my own guitar samples then i rerecorded it real time after i had most of the structure down, then i reworked the structure and melodys a little to match the new guitar better

"...move a little tighter melody wise" - that's exactly what it needs. All your instruments sound awesome but I think a unifying riff (or vocal lines) would bring the whole thing together.
digitalenigma0
digitalenigma0 replied Unknown
heck yeah i think im gonna add somthing or i might let my freind eyemgun take the lead and follow suite but yeah i think it could use some vocals mysekf im just not for sure exactly what its calling for yet...

This reminds me Trogdor, I know what you mean man, it makes me laugh when I listen to some of my old stuff. I still have the first track I ever made and it's so, so bad. It hurts your ears. You must be doing some sick stuff now if this was 5 years back tho. Keep em coming man.

Not my genre, but I get caught in your rough soundscape,
threatening, intense energy. Metal machinery at work. Awesome. DL.

Wow this is intense! The only criticism I can add is that it might sound better with the levels turned down somewhat - though how to get that insanely loud sound without clipping issues eludes me.
digitalenigma0
digitalenigma0 replied Unknown
I know i have a lot of issues in fruity loops keeping levels low but the mix hot because i use a lot of weird samples rather than vst instruments so i have issues where i seem to get one part of a song sounding great then it throws of other parts so alot of times i end up trying to meet both parts in the middle, thus audio chaos insues.. i guess i need to lean how to use another more elaborate music program

Love the guitar, love that heavy wall of distortion, sort of what I want to do with my next dead pixel album. Maybe a collaboration is in order?
