Thanx for the feedback! Appreciate it!! But, yeah, I really haven't gotten the base thing down yet. Is it primarily the tweaking that does it? I mean adding effects to vst?
I like that piano lick. Personally, I don't see the point in the seagull. The wave noise actually works as part of the beat but should probably be turned down a little and maybe fx'd so that it's less a wave and more a noise that fits the rest of the track. Overall I would say the track has good potential. I would like to remix if for you if you're interested. You can check out my stuff on the Loop or my ambient mixes on Soundcloud to give you my flavour.
Your title sums up the whole feel of the song; it's got this sadness about it that hits home with the start/stop rhythms and the haunting vocal. A very well put-together production where all sounds compliment one another to make this superb track.
