Hi, how are you. Would you give me permission to use your music in my YouTube Channel. I Just started My Channel, still not monetise. Once it'll do (monetise) will definitely donate to you. For Now will credit back to you.
I'm currently practicing Lo-Fi and go to genre and Lo-Fi tab here at Looperman and i saw this, Now i got an idea what Lo-Fi sounds like and its great.Btw nice track i love your opening piano, Keep it up.
Hello :D I wanted to say i really love the beat you have made. Its very bouncy and bubbly. I have downloaded it and wrote a song to record. I will be sure to share it with you when i finish. :) thanks for the creative track.
It's a very good piece that leans more toward the genre of trap, imho. The opening melody is memorable and catchy. The only thing I'd caution you about is making sure your sub-bass is in the same key as the song, as a few of the notes clash in some parts. I don't know if you're using a synth or a drum machine, but with either one you should have the ability to tune it. You Tube has a number of videos that may be able to assist you with key or note changes with the particular DAW or keyboard workstation you use.
Based on your profile you state you play the guitar, which puts you ahead of the game since you may already be familiar with chord structure. While you can bend the rules in music once you learn them, many have trouble with realizing that random bass notes can't be assigned to just any melody. That is the thing that hampers some up and coming music producers (not saying that applies to you, its something to watch out for).
Investing in a set of good headphones can help, and I also struggle with hearing whether notes clash in the lower register, so its not as if anyone is perfect in this regard.
I wish you all the best, and welcome you to the wonderful world of music production!
Hello! I appreciate you taking the time to give full advice. I know for the actual notes are not clashing (I used Cmaj7 and Fmaj7 chords for the lead and just a basic C to F for the bass) but it may be the sound effects I used on the lead. It started off as a regular piano and I warped the hell out of it in order to get that quirky tone. I do hear what you're mentioning although. I might try and even out the tones on the lead instrument!
I'm just using Garageband. I'm more used to FL studio is I'm still getting the hang of it. There's probably a way to have those FX without forming too much dissonance between the notes so yeah I'll look it up, thanks!
