Really like how the guitar/mandolin in the intro and BAM the tuneage kicks into gear! I like how switches back to the guitar/mandolin eventually too. Would of appreciated just a bit more variety but still has great energy and dope vibes. Great production! peace
Man a very nice piece of DnB, I just made my second attempt at the genre, not my genre, trance more my go, after hearing this should just delete mine lol, excellent clarity and arrangement, good use of the vocal, nice beat patterns and breaks, loving this one...Fav'd for sure...Thank you for the pleasure of listening to this piece....So sorry to take so long to get back to your profile...will be back for more over next few weeks for sure...Peace n Respect man...Mosaic...
dude i like this track the amens are cool im gonna download this and see how it will stand in a mix then hopfuly air it on headrush drum and bass radio and euro dnb keep them coming bro
Nice Bass compression.
The guitar may need a little dynamic increase :)
Chip's voice is good, though I feel its a little loud. Unless you want that :) THough you could always increase the drum to compensate the difference. :)
Keep up the work man!
Steve
Has a great groove and features indeed lush vocals. I wouldn't call it drum and bass though but the way it is produced is very nice.
Like you panned the percussions this way for a more surround sounds feel.
not a comment...that's a load of crap! This song kicks! I love that sample, and I think I recognize it, which is comforting! You make some awesome DnB! The bass after that drop is just insane, love it! This is definitely a fave! BTW I'm playing your song Talk 2 Me on loopradio later today.
This is very interesting. I came here because of spiv's lauding of you on face-book. This is definitely not house but the closest house artist I can think of who would be this eclectic would be Green Velvet. That being said. If you have the raw vocal stems and an instrumental version of this. I would love to remix it. I feel I would like to build from the earlier minimalism to a bigger sound and see what happens! if your interested let me know!
Steve
Am glad you liked this, however the stems are ancient history ,maybe i will re record something because i would like to have a stab at an acoustic version of the track ...glad you liked and merry xmas
Holy crap, listening back on this, I think you had a big influence on me! Thanks for that, and thanks for this cool song! I'm going to play it on loopradio soon okay!
Definitely has that mid to late 90's sound. I think the bass could use some more dirt. I have a new dnb song up if you want to check it out: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/148046
what a great voice. clear, expressive, alluring. i like the sounds/melodic bits you introduce here and there for variety. your song has a trance element to it which works well. best of luck in further development. peace. Dan
Hey this flows really well. I like the way the music and vocals go together at that first "baby talk to me talk to me" part.
I realize my quick faulty fade in on the wooohoo part is a little off.
I enjoy the flow of this, but I think this needs more- not just being a drum and bass piece. Add some dubstep, go nuts! At first, the lines and melody are fresh and I'm caught up in it but as it goes on with the same thing I am no longer surprised so it needs to keep your listener better. More music!!
yep i agree more variety is needed after the breakdown, some halftime drumstep and a change of breakbeat and instrumentation may solve that, lyrics are smashing it to begin with and no mistake, just need to maintain that energy and flow...thanks for reviewing..will rework this one a little...it's worth it i feel
Wow this is cool! You've done great things with these vocals, and I've never heard this pella before! Great style of DnB! I haven't been listening to drum and bass lately, but I'm glad I did this time! Great track! Faved for sure!
Ummm... ? This is kind of Alice and Wonderland on speed. It takes a second to get through the 'go wherever' nuances at the beginning of the track, but once the beat kicks in, it becomes carnivally, video gamey and bearable. Enjoyed the looney ride! :) Thank you!
I use computer muzys with a load of vst plugins.
Muzys was free with computer music magazine and i persevered with it until i didn't want to use fl programs any more.
Computer music is a wicked mag ,good tutorials and lots of free software.
Whatever software studio you use these days will be decent, you could try fl studio, cubase, logic ,the main thing is getting to know the program inside out..only when you know your program will you be able to make some good music.
Hope this helps.. glad you liked my track
