Very cool build up! The percussive sound effects are very creative and engaging! Seems like a good way to start a DJ set, it would get people going! Enjoyable dark track! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent intro, dark and ominous builds gently... you know it's coming! This would get me on the dance floor! I'll try not to spill my beer :) Nice work
Hehe yeah...it's coming...the strange lurking base monster ;-) Anyway I'm glad you liked it. Tnx also for the fav! Cheers with the beer and keep dancing.

Strange use of this new instrument called a duck, what did you do to it to get this sound. You should take the original sample of the duck and put a delay on it then the ducks quack would echo which is physically impossible to do acoustically.
I just used a sample of a duck "kwak-ing" haha. Added a distortion to that sample and changed the speed and length to match 150 bpm :-)

As for the sense of foreboding, remember in Empire Strikes Back when they came across the empirial remote space droid on Hoth. The way this starts kinda reminds me of that menacing droid hovering around.
Ooh, I just had an idea if ya wanna go really dark with this. Add some growling bass to the song (thinkin like it'd come out in spots sorta like some kind of alarm of battle klaxon, or maybe have it swell up and down like in waves, but constantly there). Other than that this was a pretty cool choon. Later on!

I like how driving this is mate. And this might sound odd, but somethin in the synth kept makin me think it was sayin- 'my orange juice' (shrugs).
Anyways, this was remindin me of the hard drivin stuff of the late 90s. And I could tell that you had massive fun mixing this, because of the intensity. I'm thinkin you oughta keep this like a feather on yer cap to come back to once in a while to mess with again and revamp. It has great remix potential. Thanks for sharing. Later on!
Does any techno still sound like this? - i dont know. This is proper early 90's techno. I know I was there!!! I think i said one of ur other tracks reminded me of The Advent and this one does too! Obviously good then!!!
Hi blackryan, tnx for the review. I guess I wen to 2 many techno party's in the 90's, I did now I think of it. BRings back memories. Listening to some 90's Surgeon right now... :-)
Indeed, this is very high impact, energetic stuff.

Decided to let it just play through on the last go around. Anyways, as I was sayin this packs a punch, but the way it's done isn't all in-your-face like other songs of similar intensities. Kinda done in a minimal way and it's somewhat repetitive nature gives it that hard mechanical element that's key to anything 'Techno'.
Though, in a way I feel like this is only half done. Like something about it almost screams "Counterpart needed". And that's where I think it gets interesting, because at the mo' we have one artist, who's the other one gonna be and which way will they take it? It'd be nice if there was a continuation of this along those lines mate. Later on!
Hi Donnie_Vyros, thanks for your nice review. It really got me thinking about the track in a different way. I was trying to structure this one in a "classic" beginning, middle, end. As far as you can put a story structure in a techno track :-).
Also, a lot depends on the mood I'm in. With this track, I just finished watching a 12 hour rerun of x-files on SciFi. Something had to happen... Greetz
lol, I know. All samples have different volumes and effects. By changing the volumes of each one you van create an array of different "main" drum kick :-)

All I can say is... GREAT, GREAT AND MORE GREAT!!! I definitely agree with Spivkurl on how you did such a great job in building the intensity of the track and conveying what you were trying to get across to the listener. Just an all around stellar production, love that title also, fav'd no doubt.
Peace, D
Dennel, thank you for your motivating words! I alway's try to create a frantic build up in my tracks. Some work better than others but with this one I think it all came together very nice.
ps. type "the greys" in google-images...;-)
I really like how the intensity of this track keeps building, it's very effective. The kick sounds really good! This track definitely has that sci-fi edge to it. Nice work! I think I'll fave this one!
Like fugu poisoning? I too was skeptical because of the initial beat, but you pull it off really well when the other sound layers come in. Fabulous transitions and REAL intensity. Nicely done H3Xit!
Hey N0mad23'S, tnx for the review. When buying sushi, eat it right away. Don't leave the left overs in the fridge, and eat them, like I did ;-)
So i made this track while sick. how weird is that...maybe it was the meds
at first i was a little skeptical because it kind of seemed fast, but you made it so every progressed nicely throughout the track. Im diggin the strange sounds, nicely done!
Yo ZWR, tnx for your nice review. I know the start of the track kinda puts you in the wrong direction so my intention worked :-). Glad you liked it. greetz
Finally I found someone who creates the same dark technotrippy underground genre !! DE MAX bro ! My favorite! Keep those nasty brainmassage traxx comin , I can't wait to hear more of your ear-blowing-brainrelaxing-uptempo speed trax!I'm shaking away
