Liking it! I dont think it needs much more really, the whole power is the repetitive / hypnotic steadiness.
A few ideas for variation :
- EQ/filter sweep that droning sound here and there. Just to give the whole thing a bit more life.
Furthermore, there seems to be a rimshot kind of sound in there. It gives it a militant edge, which works great.
It might help if you bring that out more, or double it with another sound. Basically get a bit more percussion going on, especially something in the higher frequencies. Preferably a bit panned Left and Right
You already have a few tom fills going on, to end a cycle of bars. You might want to exagarrate those bring them out more, or even throw in a good old fashioned Amen Break.
That little blast of the acid synth right at the end is a class touch. Certainly getting the movement thing. This is very busy the whole way through. Kind of track to break the daily grind and make you drive a little faster than you're supposed to. Not that I am encouraging anyone to break the law - wicked grin ;-)
Thanks man, that acid blast was actually an accident with the way software interacts sometimes and i thought it was cool so i left it in. Thanks for your kind comment, I hope my music doesn't inspire anyone to break the law but i'm glad it makes you feel like doing it 3:D ... Stay tuned for more tracks soon
wow, this was the first song i made while learning to use my DAW/produce. I'm really glad you liked it, also i can't belive this is still up here, getting listened to and reviewed! Thanks for listening and taking the time to review.
You will be happy to know I have kept pushing the boundaries. If you liked this keep a look out for my new tracks, I may upload one today I just finished with.

Hey Man! Nice work on this track and as I said before in the post congrats for getting it played :)
It's very strong and got that underground feel to it!
I like the use of guitars giving it an extra bit of flavor and energy! :) Really nice stuff man!
Nice!! Lots of energy and movement... I like all the elements that you have included in this track... Good sound quality too.. Def some clubby material... Diggin the programmin and the arrangements. I like that you created most of the sounds instead of using loops or samples... Good work man...
First time checking out your profile, saw you were a Aussie so thought check out your works, mate like the strong solid beat, bassline is very special, very nice and the dirty sounding synths you have here sound great,it does sound like you have a didgeridoo in here at times? I have just put up a trance piece with Didgeridoo in it, mate this is in the fav's list, ty for sharing ya talent man...Peace and respect mate, good to see another Aussie here...Estefano...
It's a little difficult to hear whats going on with the guitar, try boosting it at 6K for some extra clarity. Also I think there's a little too much of the main riff/section. If I wee you I'd condense this track down a little. That's just me tho! : )
Well first of all being an old hippie from old school daze !
it is hard sometimes to review a genre that i know nothing about
so the only thing I can rely on is the quality of the mix, the blending of the different instruments, and the overall quality of the sound, trouble being I have a hard time telling the difference between breakbeat, dubstep, trance from dance, and hiphop from rap and flow "Wow" talk about frustrating! back in the day we basically had hard rock, soft rock, pop and easy listening, blues
and r+b! alot has changed since then! and that can only be a good thing ! I may not be into alot of the genres here on looperman, but i can spot quality mixes and arrangements!
and this would be one of them! good work and good job!
I know, I thought this track has gone largely unnoticed. I think you have to be into hard house to like this track. Thanks for reviewing and faving, glad you liked what you heard
this aint bad, a very decent freestyle rap beat, basically anything can fit into hip hip, what people forget is that hip hop was a lifestyle before a genre in music, as a hip hop artist I feel I can say that we except just about any form of music into are genre as we love music as much as the next person, to bad that alot of people still consider "rap" hip hop but "rap" is that mainstream bullish on the radio, hip hop thrives on us underground story tellers! Good stuff tho!!
Music often transcends words when it comes to emotions. There are some problems with the mixing and mastering in this track that I could let you know my opinion about, but if it were me that made it, I wouldn't listen anyway, because I'd rather not go through and try and polish the raw emotion I was feeling at the time.
Glad you can feel it, i wondered if i was conveying the emotion properly.
You are definitely right about the mixing and mastering, before i knew anything about it i would compress everything to high heaven and pump everything way to loud. I have wanted to go back and remaster for a long time now but it just hasn't happened. Perhaps now you reviewing will give me the motivation.
