Zappo,
I'm not sure what the Barmaid did to you but what you did to this piece is the kewlest. Love it's laid back adventurous feel. Wonderful tuneage..
hi, I love that particular soothing tone on the keys. Your playing is really smooth and soft - excellent funky guitars! This is some beautifully arranged and performed composition - probably one of the best tracks from all what I've heard last time on this site.
Very relaxing and calming vibes, impressive keyboard and guitar playing. Alex
Hey Detlef...great to hear you back on the instruments mate!!!..an introspective piece full of light, like the sun coming out from behind a cloud..I love listening to you play guitar, there are so many influences there, but they cannot hide the fully formed multi instrumental beast that is MrBongartz...fantastic composition, very wistful but full of new beginnings, the vocals were a nice touch as well....so glad you are back brother!.. cheers Dave :)
So long since been on the loop, had to come and check out some of your craziness lol, sorry been away so long, but had reasons re link on one of my latest tracks, been on Dave's profile listening to some of your colabs, you 2 team up well together, notice you have this piece under Fusion, to me its sounds very much like a sweet house track, like always great clarity and arrangement with your piece mate...really digging the sweet relaxing groove to this one...Fav'd...Looking for to see more of your tunes over next few weeks now that I am back on the loop...Peace n Respect mate...Hope all has been okies with you my friend...Mosaic...
Gentle ringing chords and cymbal work to set the scene.
Then introduce some bass guitar. Maybe those guitar chords get a little boring but it all sits fine.
Good solid drums but I'm having trouble hearing the kick. A more solid/louder one would be good.
Lead guitar is pleasant and this is all smooth stuff. I guess this has a bit of a jazz prog rock vibe to it. I'm up to 4 mins now and those guitar chords are still there so I they've probably been there too long.
Either remove them by this point or maybe add some other FX to them or try playing them on a different guitar.
5:42 we drop down into some gentle, groovy stuff. Bass guitar has a good tone there.
Percussions makes me think of water. Would soundtrack a river scene in the heart of the jungle very well.
Tell me how you're doing your drums and percussion. Percussion loops, perhaps?
On second listen, I'm now thinking I don't like this as much as the first time. I'm noticing its meandering, wandering nature a lot more and it's maybe all a little too laid back to maintain real interest and excitement for me. But could be some very effective sountrack work.
I'm very happy to know your artwork in this song...this is fabulous, professional and moody...your guitar usage is hyper pro...those feelings what you put in your play is naturally borned and could never learn...huge respect that you play like this...your music is classical already in it's life:-)
This is a fabulous jazz piece! I really love the tone of all the instruments! Those vocals are something special too! I used to watch quite a few old movies, but I don't know if I've seen many of the ones you speak of. You done a great job with your hats off to a fine actor! That solo around 2:45 is just amazing! A very stylish composition, you've done it again! Faved for sure!
Hey funky human....great keys mate,a superb journey through Zappo space on your musical starship, very cool lead guitar, you could easily concentrate on that instrument alone and be Detlef the guitarist..but why would you as you are a multi instrumentalist supremo! .......Superb,tres vunderbar! (lol) cheers Dave :)

Excuse me, but I was long gone here at LM ...
I 'm in too deep in my thoughts , and captivated by new inspirations .
It begins a new chapter in music for me ... . , .
Thanks for the Refiew Detlef
I've never heard a song like this before! It's very intense, and there is so much to focus on! I hear elements of squarepusher, the fixx, brian eno, and oh so much more! Fine use and mixing of the bass, well played PJB! I am enjoying the part around 5:00, good change up! A very fun listen!
Hey mate...all those old bitches are probably my ex girlfriends who immigrated to Germany to get away from me!lol..apart from your great arrangement and superb playing you must have spent a lot of time just on the drum track alone...reminds a little of Iron Butterfly in parts for some reason..I wonder if Grace Slick was a bitch? lol...cheers my friend,my turn for a new track next...take care! Dave :)
Nice master and the bass is really top notch. Kind of a funky track, but man, no wonder you put this in fusion. It's got a lot going on. Tons of influence going on in this one haha. Great work.
Wonderful song Zappo!
Of course love the bass and it is very well mixed.
I really liked the part starting around 2:30 where you go more in "prog-rock" direction, almost some echoes of the "good" genesis, but much modern.
Then at 4:30 we have another interesting twist.
As usual... outstanding!
Ciao, Domenico
You my friend are the master of fusion! Just the right amount of ambiance, with lots of soul! Really jammin guitar and sitar duo! Fun bass line too! Dark ending which haunts me! Very good tune! Faved for sure!
Ooh, that's it. Love the progressive stuff in here. Bass is pretty tasty. Good job naming the track, it spoke to me. Description does not do it justice. Love it.

We have some things in common, I think. Like very long tracks!
I will give this a much more detailed review tomorrow. But it will be a good one, don't worry about that.
Great, lazy and also kind of funky, chilled melodic faroutness that appeals to my sense of melody and space and preferred tempo.
I don't see many people on here (apart from myself, obviously) with lengthy, deep far out stuff like this.
More tomorrow...
Thanks for listening
