the way the lead voices are mixed together to create the single-line melody is so good - a really clear, complex sound that never gets smooshy.
a really great and rewarding listen - much admired, a lot for me to learn from!
The one thing that always surprises me when I listen to tracks by many looperman artist is the level of originality and the passion to creaTE. I like that old school M.O.B. Deep feel and the beat is nice. Some minor level adjustments...that be about it. Nice...
This is back country hillbilly rave ho down! Super creative, well put together, can't go wrong with some good ole fiddles. Like the bass that drops in at 1:50. Funny title! - DF
I don't really have any vocal ideas for this that I'd do, but I did have a really sweet idea for this. I'm thinkin that this would sound killer if you were to incorporate some kids singin on this (kinda like Jay-z did on Hard Knock Life). For some odd reason the sweet way this song starts is what caused that to pop in my head. Beyond that I really dig all the lil drum breakdowns ya threw in here. And as for the scratches, hmm. I sorta like 'em, but do see what that one dood was sayin. Perhaps if ya toned down their volume just a tad to have them be slightly under the overall vol of the main mix (like -1 or -1.5 or something). Other than that I thought this was pretty jammin. Lates!
Tres kudos plus for the revo treatment on here. I've got to admit that out of the intermediate tricks bag it's one of my favorite ones to play with. And I've also got to admit that the lil break down starting @ around 1:38 is a nice touch. Though I dunno how I feel about the synths that come in when the song starts building up again (maybe its just the sound font that ya used for it, shrugs). I love those subdued pads (?) you've got going on, because they remind me of an old car (one of those huge boat-mobiles like a Buick) idling in a driveway. Which I guess help add meaning to the song's name. And the chilled nature of this (plus the reversing) is why I'm gonna save and fave this one. Thanks for sharing mate. Later on!
alrite bobby, this is fire man. liking everything about it, the drums are standout. love that sample, it rings through the mix nicely. great job mate. keep it up
hah.. Please DO not take this into serious consideration, but something I would do with them drums is take 'em, and then maybe dupe that intro left channel.. It works on speakers, but thru headphones, I would have liked the "clicky reverbs" slowly panning in, till it got to that break...
AND HOLY CRAP IS the bass cool on this.
You have an exceptional balance here, and that bass is awesome, but drums are really important to me as a listener.
I wanted perhaps .. not compression (that's easy) but to keep the drums in the mix, notice how at 2:30ish they get louder for a moment..
Still
Please please please don't think badly... This is AWESOME!!
Thanks for this mate. Unfortunately my laptop is currently screwed so i cant do much with it, but hoping to be back up and running in the new year. Really appreciated your feedback though and tried to stereo widen it earlier (not knowing what that was to be honest!!) Im gonna keep working on it!
Stereo imaging feels a little weird?
Is this in mono?
I think it could be a little more interesting with the keys being a bit more wide in the stereo spectrum, and maybe thinking of doing something where .. oh there you did it lol.. but giving some dynamic space...
Yeah, I really liked this man.

I wish we had more vocalists around these parts.
Awesome vocals!
Yeah.. I think I have experimented with a couple accapellas around these parts, and they are usually verses, and then you are kinda like.. damn .. what do i do now?!
This is a very creative track! Those reversed keys give, like you said, a very mysterious quality to the track! I like that deep bass! Really good mixing too, especially on the synths! Great work!
i like this track there's a good groove, real cool, and this genre of music is the one i like, but for me the quality must be improve especially for the drums for me they are too closed, but this is my opinion and also here in loopsman we can't upload best quality

I really enjoyed listening to this track. Makes me want to check out more of your work. The tracks boasts great production and instrumentation. It is simply, a great track.
love this one man, love it after the drop. from the sampling side of things reminds me of flying lotus a bit or hudson mohawke like someone said, i like the drums too. plenty of transitions too. keep up the great work fam
Really nicely produced man real crisp and clear. Those are awesome vocals too I'd personally suggest just making it longer and speed up a section or two you have a basis of a great song right there. Also I really enjoyed the guitar parts in there you dont hear too much of that anymore and I'm glad you brought it back for this song. Good work overall man.
Cheers mate. I love the vocal but unfortunately its only a minute long. Experimented with trying to bring in a chorus but just wasnt working. So i thought i would keep it short but sweet. Glad you enjoyed
