i just listened to all your stuff. i like this one, and "this is energy"are the best. the rest are good (i definitely wanna try out the riff machine), now,the only thing i do not like is the use of the.. what is that,,,flanger/phaser thingy? now, granted it is usually necessary to export at a low bit rate, but one thing is for sure, fx like that can f things up big time on the bitrate..so ,as little of that as much as possible,.aside from that, all i can say is keep the good stuff up. and review other tracks , and get invoved with the loopercommune
I think the track show great creativity. Personally, I liked the reggae bit. The track is quite good, and it demonstrates the presence of considerable talent, but it (the track) probably wouldn't have mass appeal. I like it.
There were parts of this I really liked and parts I was not so fond of. A few of the chord progressions just seemed to dissonant and out of place. It was almost like listening to several different songs in one setting. I think most people (I'm no expert, so this is only my humble opinion) like continuity in their music.
My suggestion would be to end the song at the 4:15 mark and then take the next section and make it an entirely different song. It just doesn't fit the theme you created with the first 4 minutes.
I think you have elements in here that would work well by themselves, but don't work together. In this case, the sum of the parts just doesn't quite equal a whole.
Please don't take this as being overly critical. There is a lot of good stuff in this track. It just needs to be better organized.
Very nice. I really like how the piece moves into 3/4 time. The only thing I think the piece needs is a little more low end bouncing around in there. Cool track, man!
