on EMPTY- featuring Gizella by theassociation
Great job man! Gizella's lyrics are of course amazing, and you implemented them perfectly.

Very smooth and soothing, almost Enya like. And I LOVE me some Enya lol. Great freaking job man, keep these gold nuggets coming!

Fav'd for sure. -Gabe

Peace Love Jesus!

I loved this one man.

Very calm and soothing, made me think of sitting out on a beach looking out at the ocean with the sun rising slowly.

Great job mate! Keep up the good work! -Gabe

I like this track very much. I think you may have some clipping going on though.

Track would also make for a very good cinematic track. Definitely an image evoker.

on OVER THE HILLS by theassociation
Nice noises. The track reminded me of a track that I really loved in the early 90's.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2a51A2eMaU

It's Sven Vath - Barbarella (Irresitable Force mix) You should really check out anything you can find by Irresistable Force (aka Mixmaster Morris). You'll love it. Anyway I could'nt hear your song without imagining all the plinky plonk noises in this mix and I think something similar bouncing around your floaty pads would be great. Good work.

Well you just keep getting better and better, don't you? In terms of constructive criticism, for a piece of ambient music I really can offer you nothing here. Absolutely beautiful, rewarding, fulfilling - add your own adjectives here. I simply love it when the percussion finally kicks in.

Great arrangement, separation between sounds, and a crispness that is an absolute delight. Added to faves!

on FILM THEME 1000 by theassociation
Nice sounding track, it's a little airy tho. Could do with something a little more solid, like a top-line melody to bring everything together and add in some variation.

thanks, yes its an old track, one of the first i did on my korg, ive kept it to eventually rework acoustically so to speak, cheers!

This is a very creative track! I love how you've combined sounds both old and new! Those strings have a great sound to them! The mix on this is very professional! It's energetic and chill at the same time. Really nice work!

this is some serious popul vuh (sp?) channeling! herzog is a great subject - one of the very few 'legends in their own minds' that deserve the attention - i don't often admire sheer ego, but i give it up to werner

Thanks, i did the song and then thought it reminded me of....yeah , they did the soundtrack to Aguirre, and yes Herzog is fig jam, but some of his early stuff left a mark, thanks again!

really rewarding listening experience, and at 4.45 or 5.00 pretty ecstatic (in a quiet way). i was playing air bass at this point - have you toyed with dropping in a Wobble/Laswell type bassline? regardless, great music - thanks
theassociation
theassociation replied Unknown
Thanks Michael I had to go listen to see what you were referring to at 4.45...I searched for bass ideas but i had a toothache(thats my excuse anyway), but I was tryna funky up the reverb drums but gave up, I will revisit, ill let it be dloadable if you wanna add the air!!!
cheers and thanks again
