You .. .really need to keep at music.

You have something very special about your "voice" to it all man.

I mean.. I wish I could steal your powers.
This is unique and fascinating.
Amazing work.

Amazing Amazing Amazing.

I am gonna tell others to check you out on the forums.

From a production standpoint, I wouldn't change a damn thing. Levels are incredible.

Cool, this really reminds me of sphogle (except IMO sphongle is annoying compared to this)
I love the ambiance of this song, especially the orca sound.

Thanks Andrew. Haven't heard Sphongle in ages, but I remember liking most of their stuff.

The eeriness of the vocals makes this track. I like the second half as well. It is a very relaxing piece. Nice work. Looking forward to more.

Yeah, I must admit I like the vocals as well. Hardly ever use them, but sometimes they just fit. Cheers for the listen and the review.

Really cool haunting track! Some of the melodic elements remind me of Nine Inch Nails. Those vocals are kind of creepy! I like the second half as well, with all it's unique instrumentation. This is very relaxing! I like it much! Well done!

I was not expecting anything like this when I saw the title and though I gotta listen to this, but I am suprised in a very good way. This is a very sweet piece of music. Love the simplicity of it. It has a minimal quality to it I find very appealling especially given that it needs no extras. Well constructed and well produced.

A very nice track

haha yeah the title...well let's just say I didn't exactly put a lot of thought into it, at least in relation to the song. I'm glad you liked the track though, and I appreciate the review.

awesome track again. the glitchy elements are great. love the sitar sound and that great resonance that it brings. percussion in all your songs is unique and very well done. opening sounds were great in this song, i love your use of a variety of sounds but they all seem to fit very nicely into your tracks. faving this as well. my girlfriend will really like this one i think.

SGN replied Unknown
Thanks a lot Elotium. I gotta say I like the sitar too. Not sure why I put it in there, but it works.

Oh man, THIS is the original? god that guitar just tears me to pieces it's sooo smooth. This is an absolutely amazing piece of work, and I wish I could say more about it, but wow. Great FX and did I mention how that guitar just melts me from the inside out?

Yeah, I was gonna change it to "The Artist Formerly Known As Nystagmus" to make it an easy transition but that, of course, didn't fit. Thanks for the review and the fav. And yup, will email you right now. Cheers.

The intro is so great, really fits the title. Very nice trip, it is really full sounding...with headphones and monitors to me. It gets slightly repetitive at about 4:00 minutes in. You should consider a drop-out or something. The trumpet synth kinda caught me off guard, didn't seem to fit the aura of the track imo. Overall nice movement though, I was able to hear the transitioning sounds.
SGN
SGN replied Unknown
Yup, excellent point about the drop out. I'm actually reworking this and have infact inserted a break in there. Also, about the 'trumpet synth' [it's a sax] - I've been second guessing that since the time I finished this track. I wanted there to be some catharsis, but you're right, it does sound a bit out of place. Spent hours trying to smoothen it out with different effects, but yeah, I think I'll either remove it and shorten the song or somehow bring it in more gardually.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. Much appreciated.

Wow!!! Nystagmus this is some trippy stuff man. The layering of the sounds with the subtle beat is dope. I love the ambience that surrounds you when you're listening to this. LOve the title too!!! Fits perfect with the track... Some universal mind altering stuff man... I got a Dark Ambient piece in da works that I think you might like. It's almost finished I'll drop you a link when it's done. Addin to my favs as well... Gotta keep my eye on you. Good stuff man...

Blume:)
SGN
SGN replied Unknown
Definitely do drop a link to that. I'd be interested in hearing that.
I'm glad you liked this man. I'm actually working on remastering it a little bit because there are certain sounds that are getting drowned out and it's ended up sounding flat in parts. But I'm gonna give it a rest and not listen to this for a while before doing that. Listen to something you've made over and over again can colour your judgement.

I was expecting this to move along a little harder but it was a nice ride just the same.
SGN
SGN replied Unknown
Interesting that you say that because the idea of making it harder didn't cross my mind even once while making this. That's probably because I went in with the intention to make this a steady groove with atmosphere you can lose yourself into. But I'm gonna have another listen to this without any preconceived notions [I can try at least] and see if I can use what you suggested. Probably remix it. Anyway, thanks for the listen and making me think about how I can make this better.
