Cru. Thanks for checking this out. Glad you noticed the dynamics of the bass (it is quite dynamic). Amazing how a track can become far more dynamic when compression is used to your liking. Just having fun making traX here in NC.

Hey Danke, thx for your comment. Not sure what U had in mind about the vocal harmony on the chorus runs. I used these Grotesk vocals from this site and tried not to over do the processing. I gave certain parts a bit of stereo spread and kept the chorus harmonies to a minimum since Grotesk had some reverb (or room reflections) in the original...each layer I added seemed to amp up the reverb/reflections fx which was unwanted. I like a dry, breathable, full vox range recording to work with...it allows me to add/subtract fx as needed and its priceless for making good sounding harmonies without too much processing.

Thx FR for listening and not being inconvenienced with leaving a comment. Not familiar with the guy from The Stranglers but maybe Grotesk knows of him. Thx for the fav also. Grotesk is a looperman member, I created the music track and worked in the Grotesk vocals.

Thanks for the comment Mickey...I agree mixing vocals is a challenge but I'm having a great time learning the do's n don'ts. You said "let's have more"...well I just finished another track with the same artist (ImDangerous) and it should be up in a bit. I'll stop in and see what you been up to as well.

Thanks Janis for the nice words. Feedback from the vocalist is so appreciated. I agree it's sometimes difficult pairing a pella to an instrumental (esp. when vocals need stretching) but the vocals give me inspiration.

Thx Bonez. I wasn't sure bout the hip-hop genre when I posted it but this genre is always evolving so I just put it here to see what happens. This is the 4th mix I did and after adding Vashelite's "Into the Scene"...VOILÀ! Thx again.

Thanks for the review One Dark Angel. It means a lot to us unknown producers to hear what you guys think of our work with your vocals. I will admit the syncing of these vocals did give me a challenge but patience and attention to the lyrics gave me what I needed to complete this project.

Thanks for the encouragement John. Im not sure where I will end up on this one. I know I want to add a catchy lead just haven't found the right one. I got so caught up in the mesmerizing darker sounds and the drum trak that I stopped lookn for a lead. I think I will try to develop a guitar riff that is infectious and see where it goes.
