I feel ya my man. I also have quite alot of tracks based on love and relationships. You'd get to make a happier one. But to say about this one, it sounds really professional and well mastered. Nice.
ok a little bit of feed back for ya, try and turn down your snare drum it overpowers the kick and loop also take the crispness off by cutting the fequency at the top and add some groove to it, layer the kick with a punchy one then you would have a killer techno tune, just some advice mate:) good effort
Its always good to try to expand your musical ear so got my support
always remember in this kind of genre there is always a sequence like if you started with sounds of water try to visualize what is going to end that sequence so that the feeling is mutual at the end of the song. just my 2 cents , i liked it very much.PEACE MY FRIEND
HEY I LAID DOWN SON VOCALS on this track. look on my page and give spring flowers a listen let me know what you think. i see a collab in the near future!
Nice sweet mellow beat. I love how the bass is very present without clubbing you over the head.. There's a great drop @1:40 that reminded me of that old song "Dream Weaver".. It sounds almost like a west coast track, but with a lot less anger..
Yo....this sh*t is banging.....touch the sky...just downloaded and listened....u got high quality instruments...i like that loops....and the sound of tambs....
Thanks for that, I'm glad people have been saying that. I played this beat back numerous times to make sure it would be a good Dilla tribute, and according to you guys it turned out successfully!
This is nice bro, yeah those drums are hard love that has a big sound to it. This is crazy i just did a beat called "Above The Clouds" as well lls. But mine still needs alot of work. I like the part when you dropped everything then switched it up then brought it back. Dj Ground Zero? What happen to 5 Star? lls.
WOW! Now that's some sinister groove man... It's like a killer walking into a small sleepy town on a dark stormy night, theres a flash of lighting and you catch his twisted grin and black eyes full of the pending horror awaiting the innocent.
Seriously a great track with great mix and production..
It's funny you mentioned that, because it was storming really outside when I got the idea for the beat, and I wanted it to be as grimy and horror-filled as possible. Apparently it worked lol, thanks man
