I like the beat overall. Solid Mixing, but i think there needs to be more. One of the hardest things about producing a hip hop beat is leaving empty space without it feeling empty. Struggle with it myself. Try to include things like bells, chimes, percussion like shakers and cymbals, especially in fanfares like this, to really give the song a crescendo. Hope this helps.
Hey man, Great tune you have playing here. Definitely gives off an old school feel but from your own view. Enjoyed the listen. Catchy melodies, I'm liking your synth work. Hot beat with nice transitions. I liked what I heard. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up man.
Throw in some Woodwinds, stacc'd or chopped up legato melodies. Whether you add a synth or an instrument, make sure you play high keys, you have plenty of low end cuz!
Yeah. I agree with Andre! Was thinking similar just from hearing the intro and confirmed the thought process when I heard the rest. Tight beat, either way. Do what you wish but maybe just try it out and see!(:
That'd be dope and thanks for the offer but I got plenty of 808's, slipped my mind not to put any in, thought it sounded good as is so I uploaded. Thanks for the tip tho, ill be sure to do that. :)
I like this a lot, but three and some minutes of that same lead chord got old after a minute and a half. The Solo drum verse was good - but I would love to hear same thing only with ANY sort of lead progression - even if it's just dropping the lead an octave for 16 or so just to break up the monotony.
Great work though - as is, it's a sick freestyle track I could flow over all night.
This is the kind of beat I like, very nice. However I think it could be a amazing beat if it really "took off". The beginning its realy building up to something.
I would love to see this beat hitting it even hard with some more drums.I am thinking lowering the kick drums in the beginning and then come in with some crazy drums. Anyway great work!
Hmmm I think this be an interesting Melodie. I didn't hear a solid base line which is necessary in all hip hop tracks. I thinks it would be better if you used different instruments for the music you have and put the one you have now in the back ground. Hope that helps. Peace - Valdo
hey overbeat, I like the track, your idea is good, but i thin the kick should be 4x4, then you have the rythm, because now is like a electro-pop. Try it. good job man.
I'm not going to change the kick because I intended for the beat to be like that to switch it up a little and it sounds good but thank you for the suggestion.
