The intro is amazing man maybe save the wobble bass untill it drops then revers a crash so it shoots it into the wobble almost. but yeah when this drops its down right filthy and really had me skaning out to it
the start is a nice idea...for me I would have put a nice reverse in there so you as the listener could hear the drop coming...
as far as the bass goes I think it probably needs a little top end to add to the roundness of it...
the drum track needs something...some break downs..ya know? sudden stops? I would add some sfx? and also some crashes...brother there really they make all the difference...
having said all of that ... I did enjoy the listen you got some nice ideas going on here even if it does end very suddenly..
Thanks for the review man, I made this one in like 2 hours and spent most of the time trying to get the levels and stuff right. Off the go make some crazy drum break downs and spend hours and hours finding decent sound samples. Cheers man!
Cheers man! I'm trying to remix Burro Banton-Badder than them to learn some drum and bass stuff so when I'm done with that I'll have a go with your accapella. Have a good one mate.
dont say stock sounds... like you think your the best artist in the world, i wouldnt of said they sound like stock sounds if they DIDNT sound like stock sounds. do some resampling on the wobbles and get them to sound like theyre not coming out of a phone on loudspeaker and id have something nice to say
Actually, do one mate. I didnt say i was the best artist in the world. I just said they werent stock sounds and if you wanted to sound less blunt then you could have ellaborated a bit more on that. If you don't want me to reply to your comment then dont post. If you do want a comment then dont flip out when i explain it.
i didn't want to make the wobbles over the top as the song itself isn't really meant for a heavy bassline. and stock sounds... The drums are from dubstep packs and the pads and stuff have been made on vsts.
Nice work! I'm really diggin the melody and you're right, it's very easy to listen to.
I can easily see this track being a great way to transition to a different feel during a set.
Keep it up!
I agree that the intro is a little to long. The wobbles sound nice though! Cool high hat lines. Good mixing! I like what you've done here, very creative!
I wish i could edit it again but i tried messing around with it and making a vip but it messed it all up and sounds really wierd. Will fix it eventually though :P
