Sounds like the vocalist is afraid of the microphone. Vocal phrasing needs help, along with the general execution of the vocals. Music is not bad at all, needs clarity. Vocals are what broke this one. Lyrics are passable, it's the phrasing, notes and delivery that hurt this so much. I hear what you are trying to get at here, just have someone else with more experience do the vocals. Not wanting to hurt feelings, but coddling only hinders us after age 3.
The bass shouldn't be panned left. Disorienting. There's not alot of clarity in the guitars either. The drums, while off in parts, were very good. Nice double bass. Not to complain, but I feel you put your stuff on here for constructive criticism, just like me. Keep it up!
away from the fact that that ain't really my kinda music, I was a tad... confused.
The Bass seems to only play from the left side, while the distorted guitare sits in the middle... to get a better sound you could try panning the guitare hard left and hard right (to seperate them you could add a slight non-feedback delay set to 100% wet and around 10 to 30 ms to one of the channels, instant seperation... or you could record the guitare a second time (possibly changing the effects slightly) and then pan the first hard left/right and the second record hard right/left, aka, double-track...)
The Bass on the other hand: put it directly in the middle... especially the sub just needs to be there, you could pan the things above say 200 Hz a tad, but everything below should really stay in the middle. you would get a better sound instantly oO also, since the vocals seem to be center panned, this should give them a tad more space as well
the track itself sounds good thought, just not really my kinda music, as said.
also: I just try to be helpfull, not dissing you or something. xX
I feel like this after one too many cups of Java...needs work but I applaud your effort. Need to get the guitar level in check for sure. It's got a frantic feel to it though.
wow nice intro! as i closed my eyes i imagined it to be at some sorta part in a drama or adventure movie soundtrack. lovely and well put together, those synths are great :)
Nicely done. Working with all of those different loops had to be extremely difficult. You did a really nice job making a cohesive song out of them. Well done.
this is terrific multi-dimensional music - totally outta the park looping - my only gripe is post yr lyrics, that may seem dumb but i really dig this and would like to get a better handle on where yr coming from...
