haha i concur with Jamie.. it does sound like the synthaxe. very nice composition here.. with the bells and everything.. very soothing. cool choice of elements here
thanks bio....alan is a mean synthaxe man no doubt...a hero for sure....thanks for even mentioning his name in your review....will chaeck out some of your tracks tomorrow when I get some time....thank you.
Now, there is chilled and then there is CHILLED.....this one is so chill it frosted the outside of my iced tea glass :) This is "Quincy Jones" good my friend. Seriously, one of those grooves that could make you famous.
As I was listening to this, I kept thinking a great female vocalist singing on it would put it over the top. But then I thought, why mess with perfection?
Wonderful work. And a huge thanks for cooling things off around here (it was over 100 yesterday, only in the 90's today).
I'm blushing....thanks Barry!hahaha....I had fun doing this one and you were bang on about a female vocal.....I have been thinking about that....would love to find someone on here that can supply the right backing to this....thanx bear...humbled by the review
Some beautiful sounds in this - Great work and a favorite after about 30 seconds! Thought I was listening to Holdsworth on his Synthaxe! Wonderful stuff...
jamie thanks for that...wow the real alan holdsworth is like one of my gods!!! thanks man.....i'm not in that league but thankyou a thousand times over.....
Had to check another out after listening to your last one, man you have some talent, so love this one, beautiful string type of pad, again excellent synths, just brilliant mate, clarity and arrangement again spot on, totally relaxing and enjoyable piece, mate I can tell you now I will be back to check out more of your tunes, totally love what I have heard so far, great work my friend, another fav here for sure, brillaint piece...Peace n Respect 67...Estefano...
estafano - I really appreciate those words - thanks man. looking forward to hearing more work from you too now that you have freed up some more time....thanks & irie!
Mate you have some beautiful and massive sounds in this piece, so love the bassline, dont actually mind the beat you have used in this piece, drives it along just nicely, I can understand why the question mark over the genre, to me this has a very much a dance/rock/techno feel to it,but not trance, even though you have a couple of trance elements in it, this would have to be one of the most interesting and enjoyable cross genre piece's heard here on the loop, thats mine included, this track could be something really special, maybe arranged a little different, with a touch of vocal, it could be a real club thumping piece, as you have some really excellent synths, with one very wicked bassline, so love the bassline, mate I had to listen to this a few times, as you have so much good stuff going in this piece keeping it totally interesting for the whole journey, looking forward to hearing more of yours soon going on this one, fav'd big time...Peace n Respect matey...Estefano...
appreciate the advice on that estafano...I have been searching for some vocal parts to put in here high and low.....but yes a little re-arrangement is in order...I crack myself up listening to this one in the car volume cranked up so it can be heard in the next county
Something really nice, and surprising .... Me too, I closed my eyes, and went on the road, of dreams and imagination .... Really excellent work, very complete .... congratulation.
excellent - fire-walking, dream-telling, travelling music - fav sound = them soft gtr trills in the opening - beauty craigi.
dig yr visuals too - really brings out the dance elements in this piece - will be tuning in to the others on that channel!
thank you very kindly. I really appreciated that Mr Stokes...glad you liked that visual on the piece...not too bad for a non-apple effort!!! diggin' some of your latest stuff man...keep 'em coming!
thanks for the review...I know I'm pretty excited to hear something vocally added to this....a test for Nuada! As for wordz...I'm there with you on that!!!
Nice track. Very good use of harmonics and rhythm. Once of the best tracks I've heard in a long time ... I can envisage some vocals .... Blackstreet style with auto-tune in the latter part of the track. Altogether, very well done indeed! the kind of track I would play over and over again
ok i think in an earlier version of this track i characterized as the greatest 'inside yr head' music ever. Now this is Athena cracking open the skull of Zeus.
truly deserves the 'awesome' appellation friends.
As I told you in the email, this really is a great remix. You thought of many angles I missed, thus making this one much better than the original. Now, combining what you have created with Nuada could really be interesting :)
This is a stellar effort. You can remix anything of mine whenever you want, haha. It would be a pleasure to hear what you could come up with.
Thanks for dusting this one off and taking it to another level. Well done.
Thank you zappo. I know what you mean. this was actually written by shortbus music - I can not take the credit....I merely helped him fix a wee glitch in the sound....but I felt the same thing when I heard it orignally.

This track is insane. I'm not quite sure how you put all of it together and made it work, but you did.
And you did it really well :)
Not sure why 35 people listened to this and no one showed any love. Come on people, drop a review. Hope all is well brother.
Now I have to go tell the wife the good news, haha. Boingo, boingo :)
