Play 2 now...

Have you ever seen the film Brotherhood of the Wolf? That's kinda what this reminds me of, namely that one scene where the maiden is trying to get that one sheep who has fallin into a sink hole (right before the monster attacks). Odd how my view differs from the relaxed nature of the track (but its what came to mind, {shrugs}). The pads & drums on this are pretty wicked (dunno how I feel about the storm sounds, but its whatev, ya know). Solid stuff mate. Lates!

There's a section on the upload screen where you can add the lyrics (just FYI and all that). This is some pretty abstract stuff (def diggin the effects ya threw onto the vocals). And the accompanying song is pretty bad @$$. Though I'd suggest going back to rework some of the levels to add more of a solid dynamic to the track (place the vox @ say 0, the bells & beat at -1.5, the bass @ -2 or -2.5, etc.). Otherwise this was pretty tight. Later on!

Hey Akshat. Thanks for listening and liking the song ;)
Getting started with music production is always a hard way to walk :) If you have any questions, I'd be glad to help you. Don't hesitate to ask :) Even though I don't think, that I am one of the good boys here on the page ;) But sadly I can not help you to get along with FL cause I'm not used to it at all.
Best tip for the start would be to learn a bit of music theory (If you haven't already). It really helps, when it comes to making your own melodies and harmonies in key ;)

I'm so glad to stumble across another person on here that does Psy-trance. We seem to be a rare breed on here, haha. It def has that classic 90s vibe to it (takin me back to the golden age of it all). I think my fav bits of this are the voc-sams and the synth treatment (leads & pads). And since you've extended the offer I might try my hand at playin around with this. Will letcha know if/when I do. Very nice jam ya made here & thanks for sharing mate. Keep bangin 'em out. Lates!

Hey Donnie :)
Yep. Classic Psy like the sound we had back in the 90's is rare nowadays :) That's why I gave it a shot.
I'm glad you like the track and I'll give your songs a listen tomorrow :)
Cheers,
Daniel

I've thoroughly enjoyed this song from beginning to end. I'm impressed with the progression of the song, yet you're able to keep the bassline consistent throughout. The breakdown around 3:10 sounds sick!! 5 Stars my man; keep up the good work.

hhmmmm... some nice idea brother... I do think that maybe it's a little long at 6:32...an I would have add some more fx just to keep the listener happy but having said that it does sound like a track designed just for the dance floor rather than listening in ya room on a monday afternoon.. I have to say this is really not my genre.. but the track is well produced and nicely put together...keep 'em coming brother

Thanks man.
Yeah. It's trance ^^ That's working like "this and that... Repeat, repeat, reapeat... Buildup here a bit... Repeat, repeat, repeat... break or techy part... transition to main theme... repeat, repeat, repeat... Damn! 27minutes is to much! delete, delete, delete... Yeah. That's great" ;)
Ok... not THAT bad ^^ but you're right. It's more something to listen in the background to or an a floor. It doesn't take too much attention from the listener ;-)

but i'd love to hear this song on a floor... I think it would be quite nice...

Firstly: Thanx for the vibes, man :)
If you want to invest your time, feel free to work on the track. On the soundcloud you can download the track in 320kbps. Just write a PM if you'd prefer to work with the wav ;-)

I like the dark tone throughout the track without the thunder clap. I'm feeling this beat. Great job. Not too long, not too short.

Keep it up, my friend.

Nice, has a techno vibe to it slightly, but then with all the later fx it gets more cinematic like, and really paints a picture. like someone is lost, and trying to find their way back home, underneath a dark sky...

Seems a little dark in the beggining, but turns out nice. Thunder is nice quality. Arp suites the mood, and the pads are lush. The Snare could use some 300-800Hz punch, maybe 1,500-2,500kHz too... will maybe give it that extra "kah." Other than that a nice nice track man. A Real feel to it.
Keep it up.

You did a nice job sequencing this track. The synth work is impeccable. I really like the energy behind this song. Definitely worthy of a review and a fav.

A lovely start, I love the thunder and the way the drums and synths set the mood. Some lovely touches and the thunder subtly inserted trough the track is a neat idea.

However, I feel it needs some sense of progression, the start sounds the same as the middle sounds the same as the end. It has some wonderful touches and introducing one or two new themes would propel it from good to great.

First of all: Thanks for your comment.

Simplicity and monotony are themes of the song... But I'm afraid you're right. I've kind of overdone it with doing less... Just like... Underdone... ;-)
In my next projects I'm a little mor keen in changing themes or bring in a bit more Progression :-)

To borrow a little of what is written below, I also find your music very interesting, but somewhat repetitive. I think (but this is only my humble opinion) you should bring some musical transitions more important. Still, it's already here, something very pleasant and very attractive. Excellent job ....

some really interesting ideas here...over all the track is well produced ..maybe a few more fx in there would mix it up and make it a little more interesting because it does get a tiny and I mean a tiny bit mono tone towards 3 mins ish...some may say thats me picking hole but I have to be honest... having said that I like the track and enjoyed the listen...keep 'em coming brother

Hey bro!
Thanks a lot for your honest opinion. I'm always glad if somebody is talking about the flaws of a song as well ;-) And I'm glad, you laike it anyways :)

In the first arrangement I had some more SFX in it, but it just seemed overloaded to me ;-) So I decided to keep it as simple as possible without lowering the overall ambience of that song.
