Sounds like 70's party music man. I love it. The type of flute sound you used gives it that 70's feel, and then it's like a snap back to the present with that distorted synth sound. Drums are great, like John said, nice changeups. Overall a great song. Nice work man.
Wow Crypt! Thanks for your glowing review, you pretty much nailed it. I was thinking acid jazz and dub-step... This was my first cut and I was completely amazed with the software. Gotta love the technology, one guy and the right gear and you can be your own symphony of sorts.
Thanks for taking the time out to comment on my track. Feedback of any kind is always welcomed! Your insight on the vocal aspect is noted and for the moment I will leave this track alone, it does indeed stand on its own weird two feet! I will check out your stuff as well and see what you have going on. thanks again
Speaking of.... My girlfriend walked in when I was playin this track and she said it sounded like decent porn music and that she would mind us (wrestling) to this beat! Haha! Sounds great to me! I love the beat myself! It has a dark feel to it!
Thanks again JB! I have some more to up-load but they are too long...should I just fade em out after 4 minutes or so? I think I suffer from some kind of bloat as I want to have all the variations included in the same track.
Aw thanks a lot it is greatly appreciated. I get more good responses here than I do with my supposed facebook friends! This was only my second ableton track though from one angle as a VJ/DJ I have really been passionate for good music for a looong time. Any feedback is welcome as I work away on my lonesome in my office/studio!
The changes suggest you were trying to show quite a variety of activities you engaged in during your trip. SOunds like you had a lot of fun. Very entertaining piece, diverse yet coherent.
Thanks a Mil John your comments make it worth the effort of putting it up on looperman which is turning out to be a great supportive community. I will check out your work as well and makes some rational remarks. We are all trying to make music that we would enjoy listening to and I look forward to hearing some of yours.

I wouldn't change the vocals, personally I like them and they add greatly to the 'weirdness'.
