What a great collection of sounds, a pleasure for my ears! I like what beerling1970 said about "tubular bells", I can hear that reference once I read that. Is that my mando loop in there? cool.
It is a nice recording as well. There are a lot of instruments with similar frequencies but you managed to keep them all separated in the mix very well. Listened on my headphones, sounds great!
Hello Chris , dear . many thnx for attention & the kind words. just my friend as U can see in description this trial was composed @nov 2012 & I'm not making music anymore ..

Dear Behnam
This adorable music reminds me of the poem "Your laughter" by Pablo Neruda.
I read it again and again while listening to your music and remembered all laughters which I miss very much now miles away from all my loved ones.
Thanks dear Behnam for the moments your music created and appreciate sharing.

Take bread away from me, if you wish,
take air away, but
do not take from me your laughter.
Do not take away the rose,
the lance flower that you pluck,
the water that suddenly
bursts forth in joy,
the sudden wave
of silver born in you.
My struggle is harsh and I come back
with eyes tired
at times from having seen
the unchanging earth,
but when your laughter enters
it rises to the sky seeking me
and it opens for me all
the doors of life.
My love, in the darkest
hour your laughter
opens, and if suddenly
you see my blood staining
the stones of the street,
laugh, because your laughter
will be for my hands
like a fresh sword.
.
.
.
deny me bread, air,
light, spring,
but never your laughter
for I would die.
merci Mina for attention & nice shared feedback with me & us.

I see this track has already had a lot of attention so why not one more. The vocals are great. They sit perfectly with the guitar which in its self is played beautifully. I like the layering of the vocals and the reverberated effect.
You've kept it simple but in this case simple is effective.
Just over 2 minutes of total enjoyment.

Well...this just brings out all the feels...this is a beautiful track. The music speaks for itself. You really know how to bring unique sounds together I think. I love it, truly.
my appology for late reply ms Stevens & many thnx for attention , listening & the time to share your point of view as a comment with me & us . i'm gratefull. best wishes.___B
What a soothing and gentle track here brother Behnam!
I sense a lot of sentiments with this track. She must have been a very special person! :)
The percussion drums was a good choice as it is not overbearing. The piano itself reflects a special moment in time. The mandolin places you into that moment in time. And the strings in the background holds everything together. And looking back, it is a beautiful memory captured in sound. A soothing track to the soul. Well done. - Billy
Hello Billy , and first appology for my absence & late reply.
many thnx for attention , & time to share your idea as comment with me & us .
the phrase of '' beautifull memory captured in sound '' in your comment is remarkable , memorable & what I'll remember that from U , even beyond looperman . .
a friendly smile & appreciations again.
best wishes.___B
Well, I felt sure that I had heard and commented on this before, but now I realize that I found one of your songs that I had not heard, and that is a pleasant surprise! It really is a deeply thoughtful track and experience. I'm in love with the waves of energy which are washing over me. This helps the fear and pain of recently to escape to the surface and be carried away. I could have listened to this for a couple of hours easily. Thank you for creating this. I am sure we will meet in the future, as the travelling bug laid eggs in us, and they are growing quickly. Still a bit hesitant to visit some places, and your home may be one of them, but things change. Fine composition my friend!
Yea the guitar is very impressive! Everything sits together so naturally, really love the pace of this as well. A very smooth moody production deciBel. No real complaints. peace
many thnx Gramo/Neo for attention & time to share your idea as commenT . that is Mandolin and this track has been the first time ever I had used mandolin in a trial of mine despite as U may know I'm a guitarist & not a mandolin player.any way no matter what is the name of instruments , I'm gratefull & appreciate your feedback.___Behnam
without demur this is an incredible and intelligence music !
what happens around 1:40 is a very very smart way for showing the laugh moments !!
congrats .
Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells.....I don't know why but I thought of him and the album straight away, LOVED IT AND PUT IN MY FAVED LIST. great work mate :)
Hello Steve , and first an exclusive appology for my late responce .and then a great appreciations for your explict shared idea..I haven't heared that track yet (unfortunately ) but soon I'll search & listen to that & then I will tell U myown idea , despite Steve , this ( what U've heared) is instrumental prototype version of my exclusive collaboration featuring Carole (Janis71) our good french friend whon is one of the best singers of here and I think that sung version of carole ( in which Domenico=mrwolf14 too has added some bass guitar & membranophonic lines in our trio collab )and I think that main version especially due to having vocal will change your first sentence in comment..
but mate , this is seriously nice & worth considering & I'm so gratefull of U & your frank comment & no doubt if I listen that track of Mike Oldfield and feel agree with U,then I-particulary-will change some things in this version which is not collaborated version , also I invite U to change this version if U like ( I'll send U all separated lines-no problem & I'll be glad) & that can be a collaborated version of ours ,mate.
a friendly smile , an exclusive appreciation again beerling1970,Steve and best wishes.___Behnam
Very nice I was expecting this to be shocking to be honest after reading the description with you insisting on people not to laugh hahaha, wonderful stuff, weird.. which I like, and a good plot twist with the description !!! ;)
haha...no haha I don't mean the guys to don't laugh as U see in description ..this is nice to can feel comforT with eachother and share our expriences with honesty even about the lacks , seens , unseens , dones & undones ...
well as U know I'm from Iran where there's an islamic dictatorship government here & wherever there's islam so there lives tommyrot beside limitation (no matter what sort of history that country or civilization has) and islam i alive to make these lacks in a isolated atmospher (made by islamic thoughts & dictatorship governmenT)....
I know this tragic fact in my description ,sounds a bit commedy for the others especially youngers like U & definitely causes their wonder , also smile which is comprehensible & underestandable for me , here , beyond this monitor ...& also as I've wanted makes them to know about my people's problems in fact...
so I'm gratefull of your attention to the description & I appreciate your feedback & also shared idea about instrumentation as commenT . many many thnx peril94 .a friendly smile + my best wishes .___Behnam
Hello & sorry for late responce . many thnx Charlene for attention , listening & shared idea as comment with me & us .
appreciations & all the bests.____Behnam
Hello Behnam, This trial I believe still is incomplete, not for its abrupt ending but, for it's moment in holding onto the previous thought. I hear the instruments wanted to say something more. I like the sounds you chose to explain the image of how that time seemed like. This is some natural deep thought. The piano allows me to make it personal to a time where she was laughing too but, not there anymore. A respective story. Must continue the ending sentence, will be interesting to hear. Thank you for sharing, is enjoyed and appreciated style from you. Hope things are clearer now. Peace.
Hello DesignedImpression and many thnx for the attention , listening & sharing your critical idea .
I underestand U & I think U'll underestand me to say I prefer people listen my trials 2 times , instead of making a longer version of them .but U've truely felt about instruments cause this is an extracted part of a longer version of this trial which I can send U in email if U're minded cause knowing your idea about that version too will be interesting for me and maybe that's why U've truely felt instruments wanting to say somethings more .
anyway designedImpression , your point of view is worthy of considering for me ,generally too everyone's idea is respectable for me .
and any how , now , U think what can make this better ?
which line , which instrument ( U think ) should be improved & expanded to make the listeners don't feel this is incomplete ? ....looking forward to read your reply & also according to your critical idea U're the only one who can feel free to want to collaborate about this track for any longer version .many thnx again & all the best.___B
Thank you for your response, and please don't be offended by my review. As usual, I read through all the reviews before I write mine, and I got the impression from your responses that this was still the "prototype version." The only thing about the recording that led me to believe this was the final moment, it is very sudden and abrupt. I am getting the feeling that this was completely intentional, and so I apologize for making an assumption. It's an absolutely beautiful piece, and I'm glad that I came back to listen again this morning. Getting concerned about you my friend within all the turmoil in the world, and I'm happy that we are still connected in some way.
I'm seriously gratefull of your second presence Patrick & please excuse me for a bit latency in responce for the reasons U know .
well according to knowing U , I'm sure U're not someone who cenosors his idea to make the others glad and I'm sure U're such a good friend of mine who'll help me learn more by sharing his positive or negative idea with me ..
...U can underestand me to say , knowing any type of feedback from such a virtuoso musician like U will be so great & absolutely respected worth of considering & appreciated by me..
anyway if U really think this is good enough , I should be glad and I'm seriously gratefull of your attention and shared idea & also especially your time for listening this trial of mine for 2 times & writing 2 times about it.
my friend , no matter when I leave looperman , we(U & me ) will be connected in any type of future & I'll be your friend & hope someday we ( all ) will meet eachother ..
smile & my best wishes for U & your dears all .__Behnam
I like the interplay of layers here. Innovative arrangements.
It really shines for me after the break at 2:00. This track is ripe for resampling cross-genre.
Super nice mix of sounds.

Hello Slimm + sorry for late responce .
many thnx for attention , listening & the shared idea as commenT . & beside these all , a friendly wellcome about joining to looperman .

You've done it again my friend, created something precious, and brightened my life in a big way! This gives me images of a travelling bard, going places, and changing lives. I realize this isn't the version you meant to upload, but I love it! You performed all parts with feeling and expression, and they all work together to create life. It's very good to see that you are still around here with us. I am happy to know you.
happiness belongs to me for knowing U my friend & Pat generally I should confess I've been lucky abouT my looperman communications what teached to this isolated grown man so much..regarding this track I'm gratefull of your attention & time , shared review & all your supportive words .
just no Patrick my friend , this is it the same version that I had wanted to upload ...I'm back from mission & U've listened the last seq of that folder of this project in which ending part has not that issues ...
buT your honest words makes me know this hasn't convinced your mind to be recognized as a completed and done track ...
despite I think U've not listened track till the end too...
and so I'm sorry if this hasn'T convinced U as a completed & done trial of mine , and my exclusive appreciation for sharing honest feedback & critical point of view Pat...
would be great to know what do U think We should change in it to can gain to a better output in the end ... ?
anyway thnx & thnx & take care buddy.___B
Sweetness! Love the feel of this track from the first note. The flute was creatively put to use here and has a very cool undertone to the song. There is a slight Latin feel to this and I like that. The use of percussion is fantastic and the arrangement and flow to the song is just great. Wonderful composition my friend. Amazed as always!
This sounds really nice, that glokespiel sounds ace and really adds a whole new depth to the rest of the music. You have an ability to really bring natural sounds alive and it really is a thing of beauty. If you could find some vocals for the track this would be a hit.
Very well produced and thought out. I particularly like the ending of the tune where the drums and percussion come in.
This really is a splendid piece of music.
