Cool! This is pretty raw with a lil humor! I know the beats on like basic or anything but it's simple and then with your vocals it makes the creation. Good job. You can tell you have confidence bro
I just can't understand why this one got zero comments though lots listened. I am not an expert in the genre but it's an impressive statement in my understanding – with the perfect frame of sound. Regards. Micky.
If you are looking to be more creative with guitars...without actually having a guitar, I would suggest looking into the Shreddage2 vst for kontakt player. Which is free from Native Instruments. Kontakt is free. Shreddage isn’t. But even so, it’s not as much as a new guitar. I use it in all my tracks. Well, the ones that have guitars anyhow. Not to sound like a shameless plug, but check out my metal tracks for examples of what it’s capable of. Everything I do, is my own work, no preset loops or anything.
None the less, I dig this piece you’ve done here. Keep it up, brother. The Looperman always needs more metal!
No guitar?! I seem to be expected to be a synth guy, but a guitar is something I don't want to be caught without... even if I swerve to homeless, like I expect. I've always thought that a crap guitar is better than no guitar at all, and a bunch of guitars is even better.
Loops or not, this is pretty damn cool. I have not been a big metal head since 1991 or so, so my big metal influences are more along the lines of classic rock now... GnR, Queensryche, NIN, Manson, etc... but still I can enjoy this one. I'm down with the double time kick drums and the overdrive guitars. The vocals border on industrial, so I can get into those too. An acapella I would assume?
You've done a lot with what you had to work with, and that's all I expect out of anyone, including my own past... so keep at it! Rock on!
I am loving the whole mix here! The guitar coming in at around 1:20 is gnarly and the drums are done super well. Vocals are really fitting to the track as well! great job overall
