What’s up Funkyfresh! Here’s a ruff draft of what I laid down to this track. The final version will probably have Bonez on it too. I'll hit you up when it gets done.
Sick Funkyfresh! Love the groove on this. It's already got me spitting lyrical daggers. The production is on point too. This ones a Fav and it's downloaded. Keeping that real Hip-Hop alive and well. Nice work.
Back again Funkyfresh! Just wanted to let you know that i did a final mix on the track that i was working on with this beat. Just in case you wanted to check it out again and grab a copy. Thanks again for the super dope track.
Sounds risen up from under, the ground we walk, the shadows that lurk. Your instrumentals really converse with my thoughts and enjoying the listen as the beat kicks along. At 0:24 into the track there's a quick silence, wondering if that is intentional or a hiccup in the track? Either way good job, Thank you for sharing. Peace.
Thanks again for the great instrumental. I used this one in this track that I started working on. Here is the link if you want to check out what I got so far.
So funky its gotta be fresh on the scene. With your feel in this style of music, helps my mind be at ease while the feet dance a rhythm in a mental pattern that I soon discover the art of release without physical recreation. I noticed that you do in fact have the percussion side alike some Wu style, yet your own that I've listened so far. Your instrumentals are not sided like, a universal message I recieve from it. Tell it like it is and a good listen I have to some of your tunes I really favor. You have a deep view of the wind of life, the consumption of water, the fire of belief, and the music that sets some of those lost thoughts free. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed this listen. Peace.
Underground, overground, I'm just happy to be above ground haha.
This is so full of soul, I can hear Lenny crooning to this. Or Alicia Keys, that's her style. It's repetitive, but some cleaver creative vocals will set it off nicely. Like the tambourine.
Most definitely has that underground smell to it. KRS was a nice touch. I like how sleepy the beat is, would be a perfect outlet for a good lyricist to shine out. Good work Funkyfresh.
