I like the base of what this track is doing... i keep imagining more expansion of the effects so they sound more sonic. The intro reminded me of a bit more gothic/industrial. As the song goes on i keep wanting more hard changes from section to section so it brings the song to a dubstep dancers needs.
this makes me want to go clubbing...hmmm it is a Saturday night and i can easily hear this one pounding it's way through the skinhead goth angels posing on the floor...stomp stomp stomp!
This is a very very good track...i'm thinking that to open it up a little will give it more dimension. The bass line is the main groove so you can copy the play but us a more synth sound that is typical of trance techo and process it like a filter wah wah or phase...that would make it complete in my ears...ahhhh i can hear it now while dancing in the club at midnight
thank you for the suggestion. :) Im pretty new to making new tracks. so far i love makin the sounds. If there are any other tips/suggestions you can give me, it would greatly help!
You know, I've been checking out your tracks off and on for a couple months now..and i must say that i'm truly appreciative of your works. You have a great ear for space and the blending of soundscapes.
yeah..all i need now is the crowd chanting and bouncing to this awesome groove...
Hmmm...ever thought about adding some chant samples from maybe a soccer match...you know what i mean..the roudy crowd doing their thing as a background filler in the break...yeah.that's the crowd i rave with...
thanks for the review man! Em, not sure bout the soccer match thing tho, but it's given me an idea to maybe use summit like that in a different track!!! Thanks !
i like that it is simple in composition. But i really think it would benifit with a complicated mixture to give it some more atmosphere. like an intricate apps to accompany the main melody. And ofcourse don't forget the echo on the key melody to make it seem like it doubles the tempo. Yeah that would be nice.
Appreciated! I have been toying with an echo effect on the keyboard if thats what you mean. Have not quite figured out how to get it to work correctly (I tried Reverb and Line Delay) I'll keep playing with it and yes, I was also trying to come up with another synth. Thanks for your advice it is much appreciated!!
Hey...where are the female focal tracks...that's all that's missing to make it a perfect dance club sensation. heck..add a solid hook and you can play it on top fourty remix friday nights....wow..did i really suggest that..lol
I think i want to get on the floor with knees bent and arms thrashing in the air in a ghostly manner while listening to this track...dancing in a arena of a club that is pitch black except for one lazer light beam scanning the crowd...
only one suggesting to this track...run the vocal sample through a vocoder effect...try adding Orange or DC Vocoder to your Vst plugin on your Acid and it will take your music to a new level
Wow. Uh... Thanks! Quite the rave review (no pun intended... maybe), I certainly wasn't expecting that. I'll play with that a little bit and see if I like it. Thanks for the suggestion and the review!
interesting..if you slow the tempo a bit and change the solo to an electric distorted...then i can imagine a marilyn manson vocal type performance on it..it's a good thing because it means the song is great in a way that allows different versions..and ofcourse industrial gothic is my influence.
It's always amazing to hear what others compare a song too. When I posted "Out in the Storm" on another site someone compared that to "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. Glad you liked it.
in my head i see some volkswagon touring the metro area and a young woman driving her two friends around town with the sunroof open on a nice cool summer night. and the background music...this track...seriously it all fits perfect..even with that anouncer guy talking over it all.
I love the girl in that commercial, seriously. When she looks up through the moon roof I pause my DVR and stare into her eyes. Inspirational.
Hey I went to your my***** page and was blown away. I like reading the lyrics. Peace on you.

it's such a great song as it is, but what would put me over the edge would be to hear a vocal on it. To compliment the story...imagine a Bjork style performance with more of a distorted kidney thieves type of sound...
it makes me think of lyrics and a way to scream in a glass box till my ears bleed. i think this song has just inspired me for about three new tracks of my own...thanks...very great to have your work of such presence
DUDE!!!!...this reminds me of when i lived in Orlando and going to the after hours clubs ...before trance was introduced and after acid house was starting to fade they experimented mixes...just like this sounds....um...were you there? great track for my mind
You really should try to get this song in a movie. I imagine it to be the perfect song for a scene such as when someone is escaping from some situation..but it is in a comedy setting...or maybe like some guy and girl are trying to escape from detention in a school and almost getting caught..so this is the perfect song for like a Chase Scene or similar. Really dude...try to get it in a movie..and allow your girlfriend to continue pushing you with things you havent tried before...especially if the results are just as compelling as this song is.....i just thought of a perfect example where this would fit...similar to a scene from the TV show Dukes of Hazzard...you know...comedy chase scene example.
That's exactly what my girlfriend thought about the track! I gave it this name because of that (not a bad move then). I'll let her guide me more times (your review will surely get her bossy, lol). Glad you thought it compelling, and i'll try to get it to be used as soundtrack (not that hard, i was a movie script teacher in a minor school around here). Liked your track too, let's talk about music more times! Cheers!
This was an interesting setup. It began more like a sample from what could have been a Bjork song...then the ballad had a cool calm feel to it..but then to the 80's pop culture with sax made an interesting twist. All i can say is that you should try doing a mix that puts your voice through a vocoder..it would have made me believe it to be a song about a robot or computer's problem with it's owner...Now THAT would have been the ultimate twist.
Ok..you did not warn me that i should only listen to this on a friday or saturday night..because now i want to go clubbing and dancing to this...but it's too late because it's already Sunday afternoon. Great track never stop this influence mixture which keeps the track fresh enough to want to hear repeatedly
