This is a a nice juxtaposition of music and spoken word. Well produced, and respect for using the mpc.
I love to play the MPC and appreciate the work put in here.
Thanks for listening and for your comment - Ive been working on improving the production as I've got my head more around using the software, samples, vst instruments and effects
This is great. 808s are epic.
Could use some bus compression to bring up the levels because the mix is really well balanced and can take the compression.
Nice work!
Hi ViginiaSlimm,
thanks for your second comment. The bass compression was something I forgot. I try be better in mastering but I have to learn a lot more.
Again, thanks for your time you took.
Greetings

Its a very nice arrangement and everything has it's place in the mix. The listener's ear can travel around. Plenty of details to listen for. Snare is really perfect imo, unobtrusive but clean and clear. That's hard to do!
:)
This is great mixing and production.
I think the vocals could be a little more in front and centered maybe, but it bangs like this. ;)
The beat is really catchy, people will dance to this for sure!
you could maybe offer the host who is sampled equal percentages and offer to host it.
There is nothing for either party to lose and a track like this can be viral very fast if the wind is right and the sun hits the meatnut at the right angle.
I think it's great. The sample is too late in the game though imo. Would have been perfect closer to the time of the speech.
Obama had a great voice. Hard to think of another politician with as good of a voice, who gave good speeches recently.
-Maybe BooNDock can help bring it into '21
Very nice mixing and arrangment. Solid Dubstep. :)

I like those mechanical noises. Sounds like doors closing or an app drawer effect. Familiar, but I don't quite know what it is.
Good work and an important message.
Thanks for sharing.
I agree with CincoCent, I hear all those little details and appreciate them. I gives a lot of character to an uncluttered and sparse composition.
I think there could be some more bus compression to really bring up the details and make the mix move a little more. You can always add that with the vocal if there is a vocal later.
Good work!
It's really good. The lyrics are great. Drums could use some chopping and spot treatments to make it as strong as the vocals are.
Even something simple like side-chaining a flanger on the snare sometimes. Little things will make it really pop off.
Sounds strong already. :)
I think the piano has a strong vocal melody. Really hope to hear the lyrics you had for it.
I always enjoy listening to your roots rock and punk. This is an interesting change up too.
Good work man!
Thanks man! I tried at times to make the piano be the lead melody with the guitar responding to it and then gave the guitar the lead and let the piano respond.
The lyrics just worn't working with the direction of the music, too political i think, better for a rocked up protest song.
Thanks for your comment means a lot to me the vocal I listened the back to it you're right just put a new tracked out different style different music Just Dance gmanmandrummercheck it out keep safe
It's a good remix with cool parts and sounds. I think it needs a mastering bus with compression to bring up the volumes. The bass is really clean and defined. Good track. :)
I really like this bell sample chop loop. Great. The vocals are strong, they could be a little louder or present in the mix maybe to let them shine through. the track volume competes with the vocals a little bit. Nice work. :)
Sounds all wd-40 to me. No rust. :) Maybe the track could come in sooner with some drums. Plenty of drums on this site too! Vocals are about confidence and conviction in delivery IMO. So don't sell yourself short, just go for it and respect your voice and work with it. It's just fine! :)
Hi VirginiaSlimm, I appreciate your feedback. Thank you very much for the kind comment and support! I will try to be more confident in the future ' starting now '!! :)
It's a good start! Production standards for pop are pretty high, so you'll need to work on that a little to attract people who work in pop. The basic idea is pop friendly. I would suggest adding some key changes for a bridge, pop is key change crazy right now. Seems you can't push a pop track without a bridge that goes everywhere and somehow lands on its feet and goes into the hook. Keep on it! :D
