on My Life Ft McNorad by Jkingz
You know it's good when you can't imagine any other instrumental to go with the vocals. It works with the vocals perfectly and vice versa.
On the topic of the vocals btw, dammmnnnn, that's really all i can say, Epic.

I really have no criticisms here, keep doing what your doing :)

on Stars in your Eyes by MXT43
Dude. I love this. The change up at 0.54 really made it for me. Like the other guy said it's alittle repetitive but that doesn't need to be a bad thing for instance this would be perfect for someone wanting audio for a youtube video.

You said to wahoco that your new to this, if thats the case then you are defiantly doing well for being new.

The drum beat with all the other elements layered behind it gives it a really nice flow btw. Im over here bobbing my head like crazy haha

Awesome work!

on Journey Through The Desert by Anthoroid by Anthoroid
Not my usual taste, i like dubstep but feel like this is closer to complextro or something. May not be my taste but respect the production damn! some amazing sounds in there, dont know if your a sound designer or if you your using presets e.c.t

If your a sound designer then - this shit is fire -tips hat-
If your using presets e.c.t then you've got a great ear for what works well!

Awesome work!

Thank you! I made all these sounds myself. It's not really a Dubstep tune, i think it's closer to halftime Drum & Bass, but i'm still not sure what genre this would be categorized as.

niiiceeee, love the intro super creative. Should try make the bass cut through harder though feel like its sitting too far back, just my opinion though. Nice work!

thanks bro, thanks for the feedback as well. Always good to know what it sounds like from someone else's perspective, I'm working on the bass as we speak.

DAVIDLEERENDON67 replied 10th Aug 2017 - 7 years ago
thank you..i didn't name the song..it came with the track..the producers title..unfortunately..i sing how it feels to me..i don't think about titles..i like to get lyrics..wrote by others..and melt them together..i have this tendency..to feel the words and music..and follow their paths..it works..i was given 40% chance to live..due to a bad heart..so..i'm just going to keep this up till i die..been four months since i was diagnose..and sang over 200 songs..adding my voice to them..i might not be able to afford the meds...but sites like these..give me a chance to leave something behind..so my children can have something to remember me by..i hope i'm not violating the community rules..i make no money what's so ever..even though i put the music out there..its only to see..that i tried..don't cost a thing to collaborate..with talented people..thanking for reaching out..

on BackHand by 808 McCoy by BuSHidoBrown23
Track is very quiet. A quick fix would to be to normalize the audio. Although i would suggest have a look at the master in your project and see whats causing this.
The instrumental is cool. Very bassy which is signature of a good trap sound so good work overall buddy! :)

Hey, really like this everything flows and blends beautifully. The main gliding synth is killer! although i have a sweet sport for high gliding synths. The vocals are awesome too.

im almost a year late but found this browsing the people that used my loops, this is a fine song it has some flaws but making a song with loops is a difficult thing so i respect what you have done with them. Noticed you havent put anything out since February hope your still producing tracks.
Cool work man.
Keep going!

HertzFidelity replied 3rd Oct 2016 - 8 years ago
Yes this is actually a very old song compared to what I've been up to recently. This isn't even the latest version of this song. The problem is that the sound system in my room turns out to have a smaller response window to the newer systems of this era. My system is a 2004 Logitech LS21 Multimedia Speaker which while a good quality for it's price, is crap quality for mastering.

I came to this realization when I heard one of my songs played on another more advanced system and it was awful. There are issues with harmonics in the higher frequency ranges where my system does not operate which means that there are a multitude of problems compounded during the mastering phase of each song.

I'm hoping to upgrade my system and then do a full remastering of all my songs so that they are not just awful noises polluting the looperman environment. In the meanwhile anything I produce is not eligible for uploading.

on Midnights Travel Original Mix by GoldenOokami
hey G.O, very cool track here! super interesting and creative. A simple melody but sometimes thats the best way to go if you have awesome sound production behind it which this does. 2:19 - 3:11 was probably my favourite part that bass synth is on point!

awesome job buddy!
GoldenOokami
GoldenOokami replied 4th Aug 2016 - 8 years ago
Much appreciated! I was trying to keep things simple, but still fresh, y'know? The section at 2:19 forward almost was going to be completely different. Many of the sounds were added last minute, but I think it came out really nice altogether. Cheers man!

very nice atmosphere to this, those reverb vocal shots are really good!

"I'm trying hard these days not to make things too long"
haha 8 minutes long static i think you failed at that BUT you succeeded in making a really awesome atmospheric track which i think you should be proud of.

awesome work man keep em coming! :)
StaticNomad
StaticNomad replied 27th Jun 2016 - 8 years ago
Yo.

I also like the atmosphere here. Kind of minimal and the warm sub bass and drums provide a vibe I can easily chill to.

"haha 8 minutes long static i think you failed at that"

No, not really. You may not be aware that I regularly used to make tracks 10-17 mins long. I've had a lot of success in the last 2 years in doing things such as splitting really long ones in two and also trying to make sure I don't go over 10 mins.

A couple of months ago, I even posted three tracks in one month that were all under 4 mins!

Here's the only one of those three that's still online:

Midnight Sun

http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/175138

See Silverman's comment as he wants this to be even longer, which I could easily make happen though I'm not sure if I should. Yes, this is long but the key question (always) is whether it's too long.

Great to hear you enjoyed it and, yes, I am proud of it though I still feel something is missing. Perhaps it's because I have other riffs I could still add to it (eg funky basslines for the uptempo blues section) and I wonder how they would sound but I'm not sure if I should even try recording them as that would probably take this up to more like 11 mins.

Thanks again.

I think you're right! Creativity is something that comes and goes, sometimes you're full of creative spark and other times you can't find that spark to save your life. Maybe it all depends on our current state or mood. Or perhaps, its just something that happens more when we're inspired and less when we're trying to force it. I don't know, but I wish I could figure it out.

Thanks for always checking in, take care.
