I have to agree with everything Bossle has said, the songs is great, really! However the levels are a bit uneven. Perhaps...if you can (I'm not really sure how Magix works, 'cause i've never used it) but apply a soft clipper or some sort of compressor to the distortion-like sounds, just so they won't blow out someones speakers haha
Pssh, I liked the concept, i liked the feel and i liked all the different sounds going on. It prolly could have used a bit more mastering (the bass is a bit too ..uhm..loud i guess. Although it would've been perfect for a club or something, the levels didn't seem to fit with the rest of the song) ANYWAY - I liked it, despite it's shortness. ;D
The intro was sexy. Short and to the point. Great synth and bass work, too! LIke Neil said, this is a very solid track - very upbeat and impressive! :D
Mhm, I have to agree the drums are nice. Panning is sexy. Only issue i have with this song, is it seems the house piano sounds out of place to me. I like the melody of it, just...ionno, it doesn't fit with the rest of the song to me =/
But it's not bad at all! - for just whipping it up with loops and while you're on the road xD Props for that ;P
thanks for the feedback, very appreciated! i agree on the piano bit. i meant to go back and blend the two together but lost the flow n left it lol.
ill keep an eye out for your work!
Cheers, Spektre
It's got like...a light EBM feel to it, especially the grainy synth you have. Sounds very nice, though i have to say! And again, love the kick you used in this one x3
Synth work is amazing in this track. Love the kick, too! It's very ...80's futuristic sounding to me...like if the Invader Zim theme song were made in the 80's xD But you do well with all of the sounds you used.
I agree, the trancey feel is a very nice touch. I think it could use just a tad of EQ with the pad, just because it seems to overwhelm the vocals a bit. Other than that small thing it's a great track! Keep it up ;D
lol!! Then I guess the bassline took you back to The Animatrix where the riot between men and machines takes place. I watched the animatrix perhaps 10 times altogether and the soundtrack is just bloody great.
This was pretty impressive! The only thing is, i think it might have gone out of rhythm at times when the breakbeat started up. Right when the break beat starts - it kicks ass, but then it seems to fall out of the rhythm. Other than that, though - I dig it. I thought the intro was off the wall, and your transitions where perfect! Great work! :3
Love your inspiration for this song, Silent Hill is an amazing franchise - and i like how you took that and created it into this charming song :3
I looooove the siren sound, and always will - thought it was fantastic that your focus was that. My favorite part has to be near the end when the siren goes off again and everything else is going as well :D
This is great. Nice and mellow track that just makes you want to smile and say 'Thank you' to the world, haha. Awesome job on the song, Mr. Devodale ;D
