I feel as your voice, and way you record yourself, you're like a male "Lana Del Rey" Hey man keep it up. Look up some mastering and balance techniques and try to showcase your work, I'm sure you'll get attention
hey. thanks for some nice words man. much appreciated! indeed there are some real instruments here: funky guitars, jazz sax line and of course very stylish vocals. I do not listen to trap very often but it is nice to find some connections. thanks again for listening and nice review.
It sounds good. It's nice to hear something different from the usual on here. I suggest lowering the volume of it and raising the beats. Also a few effects with EQ and Cutoffs would be good for the track.
Thanks for your comment. I remember the early days of panning when it was more aggressive than today. I like the sound of different instruments mainly coming out of one speaker rather than both. Not sure if it's right or wrong, but it just sounds better to me.
hey man - glad you liked the change-up. that's Stohgs! anyway - I set GSnap to D major (not a preset) for Oceanically singing actual words. For the alien sounding effect, I'm not sure what Dave (Stohgs) used. It was def Autotune and probably a preset but not sure which. catch you round the cyberhood. Dan
The name to this track quickly got my attention. I love the piano like sounds to it. I'm not sure what type of VST that is, but it sounds like a piano/string mix. It goes great with this track! Very original and has much potential.
Nice bass bass used. I love the concept about this song. It sounds great! I wish there was some reveerb on the vocal track, and if that got fixed a bit. Otherwise sounds amazing! I'd share this.
Cool to know that you think i did a good job with this 1 vst.
This one vst thing reminds me a bit on the very old days, where we all just had one synth ...... so it is a kind of
- back to the roots - (for me) :)
Initially I had been ok, good drum rythm and loop, but then it got complicated and the vocals came in with some of those "dubstep" sounds. Very nice and quick paced
Hey, thank you for listening and leaving a comment! To be honest I've realized that I have no idea what makes a sound dubsteppy any more. I know there is wobble basses (none in this song), and half time drum stuff (not really here either)... so beyond that I guess I can just say that I'm happy if it sounds like something you enjoy. The quick pace was definitely intended, and those drum loops from members really helped out. Thank you again!
