on Birth of a Hero by DreamGiver
This is a really simple melody that builds up nicely. It reminds me of Moby around the time he put out "Play". Think it needs something adding around the middle section to break the melody up a bit, more strings and drums maybe, a change of pace something more bombastic ? Either way a cool track.

Thanks. This is still a work in progress so I'll keep it in mind. :)

Very epic sounding, great mix of orchestra and rock. Great production and arrangement, I could imagine this on the big screen. Very impressive, I like it.

This builds up really well, a great intro, I like the flute. It's all very atmospheric. I imagined lots of mist covering a barren landscape at dusk or dawn. I was hoping for something a bit bombastic towards the end, maybe some timpani drums or sommat, but that's just my opinion. Regardless this is a very cool track. Watts.

Wow, this takes me back to the 80's, very retro sounding, the drums sound great. Yeah, I like this, does remind me of maybe O.M.D. or Depeche Mode. I have a Tascam 464 in the loft, great machine, took my first steps into the world of home recording with it. Watts

on Electro Night by FrankTheDrummer
Great intro, kinda reminds me of Kraftwerk at times, I really like the drums and synth (what did you use ?). It makes think of motion (car, train, rocket), cool track. Watts.

Thanks for your comment man. For the drums I used a drum machine that I found into Magix Music Maker. For the intro synth I used a synth software of a friend of mine, but I don't remember the name. I remember it's something like FM7.

I like the drums on this, gives it a slight Trip Hop feel, it was a little repetative in places, mainly the piano loop, maybe vary it a little ? Good use of the scratch fx and bass, I especially like the drums on this. Cool. Watts.

on (bela ghamd) new arabian music by dj hatim by DJ_Hatim
I love the traditional feel of this track, great build up and overall progression, some really cool sounding instruments on this, would have liked it to be a bit longer, maybe build up into something big, loud and cinematic at the end ? Good track. Watts.

on Running Away by GuilhermeN
This is a real melting pot of styles, Rockabilly sounding drums, blues guitar and harmonica, bit of country guitar, it all fits together really well. Yeah, very happy feel to it, I like it. Levels could do with some adjustment, but apart from that, it's a good track. Watts.

Glad you liked! Your track "The eye of the sun" was the first i added as a favorite when i first came to looperman searching for my first loops to download. I still got to check all your other tracks. I'll get to learn the level adjustment thing in a while (downloading a book on the subject). Thanks for the review!

Yeah, Beck all the way ! I like Beck and I like this, great lyrical content too ! It's got a real nice groove to it. Actually reminds me of the Beta Band in places too, especially the vocals. Cool track. Watts.

Wow, what a great sounding track, very mellow but quite haunting all at the same time, almost dream like at some points, I really liked the shift at around 1.45. Well played and well written, excellent. Watts

Nice break beat on this, synth sounds cool, I like the mandolin loop too, not sure if it sounds like a mandolin, but I don't think it matters as it suits the song really well, I like it. Watts.

on Within these Walls by WoodyMD
Holy shit, this is going hell for leather ! Don't know what you call this ? Speed Metal, Thrash Metal ? It's as tight as fxxk whatever it is. Drums sound cool, excellent guitar work on this too, really well played, very proffesional. Great track.

on You Never Know by daveabbottuk
This really reminds me of The Pixies, not so much the vocals but the music, the chord structure and the guitar tone are very similar to the Pixies "Surfer Rosa" period. So for that reason alone I like this track, it's well played, the overall sound is good and it has a good feel about it, good song. and I'm using the word good too many times in this review ! Watts

on Mr. Rockman by Masterpeace
Yeah, I'd say this is similar to alot of Prog Rock stuff. To say your into Hip Hop, this is really good. The drums reminded me of sommat you'd hear in an upbeat jazz track, the guitar parts were good, are they played or loops ?

Yeah, I reckon Cinematic is the correct genre for this track, though I did think the drums gave it a slight Trip Hop feel. Very light and smooth sounding, nice choice of instruments, well played, cool song. Watts

on killa (collab with Sweeney) by rei4real
Man, there's some tasty guitar work going on here, this is cool. the piano loop works really well . Musicially it reminds me of Tangerine Dream. Overall the song is very well played, well produced and sounds very fresh, my only complaint is it should be longer ! It's over way too soon. This track shows how well collab's can work, should be a real benchmark. Well done guys. Watts

Great sounding track, loved the toms on this. Definatley music for the big screen, I like the way you kept bringing the music back in. Only thing I didn't like were the hand claps, sorry. Apart from that a cool track indeed. Watts

on TAKE EVERYTHING by Billy_England
This track had me bobbing my head from the start, excellent guitar sound, the song itself is kinda relentless from start to finish. Musically it reminded me, especially on the verses of a much raw sounding Therapy ? maybe a hint of early Black Flag and the Stooges too ? The overall sound was great and really suited the song. My advice is, record all your songs like this cos it gives them a really raw edge which fits this kinda music, fxxk spending loads of cash on an over produced polished mix ! yep, it is raw, it is heavy and it does rock ! Excellent track....Watts
