Very accomplished track and I really appreciate how the playing is subdued and not overdone. I have a tendency to get carried away and it always impresses me when someone is able to avoid that trap. This is meditation music, and that is some of the best kind of music there is. What a pleasant listen. Peace, Six
i just wanted to keep it real simple. its wierd how some people dont like to play basic..and want to play for themselfs...an example is trying to get a drummer to play the same simple basic drum beat all the way through a song.....its hard for them to do it coz they just wanna hit a crash or do a roll...same with a lot of other musicians really...i just remember one simple rule....play for the song and not for yourself.
Very nice take on a familiar theme. I agree with Bill, your sweep picking technique is very solid and clean. I can totally hear those humbuckers on that old SG buzzing like a chainsaw, and it is good! I like the electronic, almost video-gamey type of vibe, it is a lot of fun. You might consider adding a little reverb to the guitar track or lowering the level just a touch, as it really stands out in the mix (as a guitarist I have a hard time with this myself, because I just want that lead guitar to scream...haha). Peace, Six
Hey thanks for the compliments on the playing man :)
That SG was sooo sexy!! i couldn stop playing it when i borrowed it haha
il make them changes when i get a little free time...im moving house soon so i need to pack and move all my gear!! haha
I appreciate the laid back nature of this track. It has tremendous potential. There are a couple of elements that, in my opinion, would make this a stronger track. 1. A more consistent melodic motif. Not something overwhelming really, but something that when I (or any listener) hear it, I want to hear it again. This might be considered a melodic hook, but I am not suggesting that it is something that needs to be "poppy", just something that stands out enough that it anchors the flow of the music. 2. The other element that would benefit from some polish and consideration is the percussion. I kept hearing something more dynamic happening in the background, even though it was not actually happening. Think about adding some deceptive percussive elements, things that are subtle but noticeable. This will help out a lot with the repetitious nature of the rhythm track. These are merely suggestions, and I would never presume to know what you like to hear and listen to, I can only speak for myself in this area. I really enjoy this track, so it is worth my time to throw out a couple of ideas for you. Peace, Six
thank you very much for your feedback. If there were some kind of rating system for feedbacks, yours would be on top. Some of your suggestions sound most considerable and some of them might be argued against. But as a whole your feedback gave me a lot to think about.
Dude! Way to melt my brain! I am not really into most electronic music, but the way you do it is pretty spectacular. Plus, I know all about your great taste in gear! I truly appreciate the weird sounds that you pull out of nowhere and love that you add some flavor to what is generally a tedious medium. Thanks for sharing your unique taste and talent. Peace, Six
I appreciate the simplistic nature of this track. Sometimes it is refreshing to just create some rhythm and atmosphere and let it speak for itself. Nice work. Peace, Six
Hi Todd
Thanks for stopping by and reviewing my track.
It did not take too long to make but its one of my most downloaded tracks so im happy:)

I like this track based on the name alone. The beat is not really my style, but it is not executed poorly. I definitely like the lead synth line. A touch of bass in the EQ would not hurt. Interesting listen, thanks for sharing. Peace, Six
Always a pleasure to hear other guitarists at work. This is a solid track. Your guitar sound would benefit with a bit of multi-tracking. I find that doubling a guitar in a way that it is (hopefully) unnoticed, brings into play a sonic dynamic that really adds some meat to the proceedings. Good base track here. It could also benefit from a little extra melody of some sort to help keep things from getting repetitive. Of course this would be perfect for a good singer. An enjoyable listen. Peace, Six
Very solid and hooky track. House music is not really my thing, but this track has an bounce to it that is hard to get away from. Nice work integrating the vocals and very crisp and pronounced production. I like it. Peace, Six
While this is not quite the major key exercise that I anticipated, it nonetheless fits right in with the description that you gave it. Sonically, you have again achieved a brightness and tone that is rewarding and easy to listen to. Very nice indeed. I like the brief foray into trem picking at the end. Peace, Six
I love the simple elegance of this track. I am a big fan of subdued guitar playing (as it is something that I am often not capable of...haha.) Sonically this track is very rewarding. Great relaxed feel and a lot of resolution musically makes this a winner to me! Peace, Six
Always nice to have some Rock music thrown into the mix here on looperman.com. I like your playing, although the production, in my opinion needs a little bit better balance and tone. Musically though this is a very cool track. I think sonically it just needs a bit more punch and power. Still I dig it. Welcome aboard sir. Peace, Six
thanx alot for your nıce comment. unfortunetely, ı have not enough preset the dıstortıon. ı have no pedal set.ı only used the dıstotıon sound on anfi. ım tryıng to fınd some good dıgı pedal on the web lıke better than GT exress. ıf ı fınd ı wıll ımprove ıt. :D keep on rockın :D
Seems as though whatever mood or genre you are trying to tackle, you handle it with smooth and professional efficiency. I love the laid back sound and groove of this track. Reminds me a little of smooth jazz, but with enough rock and roll edge to give it some grit. Great Synth work here as well. Top notch my friend. Peace, Six
Dude, that was some serious entertainment right there. Listening to that track play and looking at your avatar, well let's just say that you have crafted an excellent and very clever persona. The music sounds pretty good but could definitely use a touch more TLC. A little soft reverb to blend the vox and the music together nicely would be a good way to start. Thanks for sharing this track, I was laughing and smiling from start to finish (all in a good way). Peace, Six
Thanks for the feedback and the listen, I really appreciate it. Definately what I lack is quality production. I love writing, love recording, hate production, Im spreading my wings though and will be working more on that end. Thanks again.
This is a solid base of a tune, but in all honesty I kept wanting for something to happen. But it never really did. I like the playing and I like the sounds of the instruments. It seems as though we got stuck in the same groove over and over, without a whole lot of variation. It really picks up nicely at the end, but it took a very long time to get there. I don't say this to be rude, spiteful or anything like that. These are just my thoughts and I am doing my best to present them in a constructive manner. There is definite talent here, and you have created a cool atmosphere, I was hoping for a "payoff" that never really came. Can't wait to see what else you got. Thanks for sharing and being a part of the community. Peace, Six
Hey Six, thanks v much for your thoughts.I respect where you're coming from and maybe we could've built this up bit more, but where do you draw the line ? We're happy with it.The solo in the outro took about 15-20 takes and it was done in its entirety, not pasted together. Its all subjective :) Your review is greatly appreciated and your opinion,as well as your work are highly regarded.Cheers mate,Geo.
I really appreciate what you do Randy. I love the sonic quality of every track that you have posted here and your knack with a hook and melody is top notch. I know this is an arranged track, but honestly it takes a great ear and experience to arrange something this great. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Peace, Six
ADD ON: I am downloading this track, because I really want to play along with it. Also it is hitting the favorites. Thank you sir. Peace, Six
Hi ya Six,
So nice to hear from you. I also received your message on TT, so let's just say I am answering them both here.
I have to tell you, I go thru many songs before I buy one to make it into my own. Downloading samples and loops is one thing, but you gotta pay for the good stuff and put it together.
So between my own song making and assembling loops that I think will fit together, it makes me a happy camper.
What makes it even more fun is when a person like you, gives an honest praise of one of my tunes.
I'll do more loops, but I enjoy my own creating from scratch too. You know, sometimes the fingers just get a little sore and you need a break. :-)
Yes....download it, play it back on a big stereo system and you'll be in heaven, playing it many times over like I did, before I thought it was good enough to be posted.
Thanks Six, you and the others here are all my heroes.
Randy.
But this was a pretty cool ride...I love the sample you use in the beginning, way to set up a cool vibe. My favorite part is the break in the middle. It took me out of the mayhem for a minute and put me into a great place! Nice track. Peace and good cheer, Six
I don't know what is going on here, but it is definitely trippy and unique. I like how everything is kinda of off-tempo. Reminds me of a nightmarish christmas carnival. Peace and good cheer, Six
Thanks for your comment. it is meant to be a party song.pump it up style, but there is always room for improvement.
Basically the song is saying.
verse I
That Christ was born in town of Bethlehem
he is going to be the king of the world.
winter is whispering that it is xmas
lets get prepared.
He will be the king of the world
the Rose of Sharon is here to stay
we have seen his star in the sky
Christmas Christmas is here
verse II
The three wise men saw the sign
Its one of a kind.
The reason for the season is jesus
He will save the world
He will be the king of the world
the Rose of Sharon is here to stay
we have seen his star in the sky
Christmas Christmas is here
Way to take a totally familiar theme, keep it recognizable, yet make it totally distinct. I really dig this track. I love how the melody just kind of swirls in and out. I also like the subtle R2-D2 noises in the background. Peace and good cheer, Six
Thanks Six,
There was a swirly effect already on the synth I used, but I used a a modulator vst called "chopper" as well on the original.
Thanks for your review

I am always surprised by the makeup and style of your tracks. They are so all over the place! That kind of unpredictability is a rare find these days. Cool track. For what it's worth the "menacing" loops are all me on synth. Thanks for the shoutout and putting them in such a cool context. Peace, Six
Thanks for the great loops to work with. Since I don't play anything very well, I'm not constrained by what I can or cannot play. My AAD also helps me keep things different. I don't want to get stale or tired of what I'm doing so I change things up a lot. I'm glad you liked the track. Thanks for listening & the review. I appreciate your comments. mokeone
I love Christmas music, as you know I am sure. This is a stellar rendition of a lovely melody. I like that it is without other instrumentation. Seriously moving sir. Perhaps you and I have one more Christmas tune to do before it's all over? Peace, Six
Just what I always wanted. =) I love "lounge-y" style Jazz music and I love Christmas music and you have married the two with magnificent style. Nice, forward playing. I like it. Peace, Six
That was an intense ride...even if it was only a minute and a half. Music is ultimately about pleasing your own ears, so it is always important to make music that you enjoy. Just keep yourself open to new ideas and new techniques to improve what you are doing and you will find, in short order, that you will get more enjoyment than you though possible. As to the production values of this track, it sounds as though some of the recording/mixing levels on your synths might be a little high. You might want to consider a remix with the levels a touch lower to add balance to your track. I dig the weird energy. I eat bacon and eggs for breakfast myself, but you make brains sound pretty tasty. Peace, Six
I love that you are really stretching out your melodic and rhythmic themes and letting them fully develop. I love the acoustic guitar and the way that it counterbalances the electronic phrases. Best wishes to you on the road (or in the air, same concept, more comfortable...haha). Peace, Six
Thanks Six. All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go....If I can get a break and find internet access, I'll check in and perhaps report on how it's going. Thanks for the kind send off. I'll be doing the solo acoustic thing. It's the Hair Like Bob Dylan Tour....

Very cool. I like that the tone is reminiscent of the middle of "Master of Puppets". The playing is crisp and clean. The production sounds nicely balanced as well. All around nice track. The short but sweet is always welcome as far as I am concerned. Sometimes it is best to leave the listener wanting more as opposed to being tired of hearing what you have going on. Peace, Six
I have just recently finished a track that has zero of my guitar playing on it, and it was super fun to put together. It does not have the beautiful directness that this groove has. Your producing skills are rock solid, as your songs always sound brilliantly clear and clean. Another fine addition to the canon, no matter where it came from. Peace, Six
Hi Six,
Thanks so much for your review here.
So you have done a song as well with just loops. Great....I am looking forward to listening to it.
I have been around a long time, and probably 10 years from now, I may not even be able to do much, so I am making the best of my music abilities now before I get 'too old'. :-)
My quest is to make quality sounding music, and having done some sound reinforcement in the past, I like making the lead part stand out so you can hear it and not hidden in the background.
