The groundwork for this is impressive for your first track. We all have to start somewhere and I would say this is a great first step!
The only constructive criticism I can say is that the sub is a little too active for the style of beat you’re going for. It almost seems like you wanted to sidechain without actually sidechaining. Simply extending the notes in the midi and adding a little sidechain compression for this should fix it right up!
Amazing first track. I hope to hear more from you soon!
I wish this site would let me use emojis cause my whole comment would just be fire emojis. This is AWESOME!!
The mix already seems so well done, along with the master. I couldn’t imagine what more you guys would want to do with this!!
If interested, I’d love to potentially collab in the future!
Hey Modnex! I'm not big on cinematic tracks but this one was very soothing. The pan effects were done expertly and the pads were nice and warm. They fit very well with the chord progression.
The only constructive criticism that I could muster was that the plucks that pan towards the end were a little too loud. I'd say just turn those down a bit and this track will be good to go! :)
Thanks mate! I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I agree the plucks can use a little bit lowering. I'll try to get that done soon. Thanks for taking the time to listen and give some great tips, I appreciate it!
Hey man! This is really good! I'm loving the lead. It's so square but still sine...very weird haha
Though it does seem that there are a few points in the track where it's just the drum beat. While this can be a helpful suspense tool, it seems it's happening a little too often, which is creating an empty space where one would expect to hear a lead or funky sub bass line and are really hearing nothing but drums.
Try to fill in that empty space with some plucks or vocal chops or something to keep the listener interested and still maintain that sense of suspense! :)
Hope I was of some help. Good work on this one! Hope to hear more from you soon! :)
Hey buddy! This is interesting. I've never heard a house track with this type of progression but different is always a good thing :)
The bells that start at 1:02 are a little loud and clash with the lead synth there too. If you ask me, I would take them out of that section. They seem more of a stand-alone type of synth to use, due to the heavy detune on them.
Hey 2D2R ! This is really cool! I like the idea of a quickie track. I always found it difficult to write dubstep, but you've really pulled it off with this one!
The only constructive criticism I have is that the low end is a little too prominent at 2:37. It sounds as if you've got low octave brass stabs and sub bass happening at the same time. Try raising the stabs (if they are stabs) up an octave and lower the volume on them a tad!
Hope I could be of some help! Wonderful work here my friend!
Your feedback made the track better than ever! I just noticed that little bug when you mentioned it, so thank you very much! You help people here in looperman in any way you can and that's what I like from you! thanks again!
cheers
Hey man! This is a wonderful track. I'm especially loving the bass glides in the drop. The synth you used for the lead works as perfect fit both for the feel of the song and what you were going for in the sound of rain!
Very nice work here my friend! Excited to hear more from you in the future!
I'm loving this! The immense emotion behind it is breath-taking!!!
Only constructive criticism I have is that the saw in the last drop is a little too high and drowns out some of the other sounds a bit and, agreeing with Felix here, a little 808 bendies wouldn't hurt at all :)

I would add some synth stabs in the second drop, just to brighten up the feel. That's just me though!

Let me start off by saying I'm LOVING the vocal chops, especially in the second drop!
The claps get drowned out slightly in the second drop but otherwise this is super different.
Different is good :)
