Excellent track. Definitely expands over a Gothic landscape. The heavy guitar chops really blend wonderfully with the vocals, backed by the wailing guitar solo. This track is obviously a great addition to Looperman.
Another great contribution by you (and Danke). You voice is distinct and unique, and most of all, harmoniously accomplished. Your musical creativity also tackles a wide range of styles, which cannot be accomplished by many people. We all here at MORTradio are waiting for more of your tracks here at Looperman, as well as at SoundCloud.
Thanks for taking time to listen to the new version of the song, with the wonderful support of Danke.
Maybe in the future we could collab on another track.
Sending good vibes to you, MORTradio guys.
Looking forward to your 3rd release!
Very twisted in its sound, which is why it works so well. Unless I am mistaken, you have a banjo (open back) playing as part of the track, which is obviously not an instrument you normally hear in rap music. I'm glad you took the chance and used it, because it definitely works. Well done on your efforts and your track.
The mood of the track definitely fits the scenario that you described. I had moments when I thought about scenes from the Figgs' film "Leaving Las Vegas" while I listened to your track.
The vocals are excellent in this track. That is what really made me enjoy this track. Very cool work. Bravo. As I have said before, I definitely will continue to listen to your tracks.
Thanks a lot for nice words and listening to my music!
This soundcloud track was one of my first tracks on this site also - it was an improvised piano take along the acapella from Oceanically. I played the drums from the keyboard as well in a very unlike way from what I am doing now haha.
This one is a kind of very much proper electronic production but still I can't say I am into so called 'mainstream'. Just experimenting a lot. Agreed: Joe's vocals are excellent and very stylish indeed.
Strange and upbeat. Reminds me of experimental films and documentaries that were coming out in the late 80's and early 90s. The vocals somehow fit in the overall scheme of this track (at least I think so). Well done and bravo.
Hello to a newer member, and thank you for your listen and comment! I am a strange person, so it is no skin off my teeth. I will admit to being heavily influence by the 80's and 90's, though a I don't often listen to stuff from the 90's any more, mostly older or newer things. I love the 80's to the point of being annoying to those around me. I appreciate the compliment regarding the vocal's relevance. I worked really hard to make everything right for the theme. It was an octave higher than my normal range, so obviously a challenge. It's good to hear from you, and I"ll be checking out your profile in a moment.
Great musical moment. Well done. The title and quote you provided definitely go with the emotion of this song. Almost like a sadly twisted version of "Sunset Boulevard", or a requiem for dreams that fell to the ground on the streets of Hollywood. Good job on your work, and thanks for uploading it.

That banjo sound is actually a pizzicato with a highpass on the EQ.
