I'm the same way some of the time, and some of the time I get right in there and finish it all in one go. It really depends on the track i'm doing and how motivated I am at the moment. As for your track, I'll help you if you would like (and if you don't growl at me). My first suggestion is to ease up on the "damage VST" like percussion/sound effects because they sound a bit too generic/low end. I have tons of great drum libraries for all different types of genres if you want me to take a spin. Secondly, I like the brass that comes in and the string rhythm but at the beginning there is something missing - something that should be influential throughout the whole piece to keep it moving on because without this element (whatever it may be) it sounds a little bit dry. I noticed the end of the piece has the long strings to move along the piece so maybe place that earlier on? Remember when making tracks you have the first 5-10 seconds to grab a hold of your audience before they decide if they want to continue listening. Anyways, I will adapt my version of this for you to listen to if you would like and post the link up here. Also, I could help you out more if you told me what direction you were looking to go and if you wanted choir, etc. Best regards, CK.

I'd never growl at you at any time, all you do is much appreciated, really.
Do it with it, what you want, im really curious with what u're gonna come up with.
I can export it as a midi file and send it to you, if you give me your email through the private message option!

I don't like the constant use of cymbals/hits whatever is going on there on the second part of your track (and notably the transiton) it sounds bad, synthesized and takes away from the rise and puncture of the track. The strings could also use some work on the updated part - the melody is good but they sound terrible (maybe its the VST?). Also, your cymbals need more of a "punch"...I don't like the transition between the first part and the updated part - I get you were struggling on that, but I think you can do way better on that transition. I know I said I was going to work on the original part for you but I got busy haha. I'll try and add elements I think your track could benefit from and post them up here in a timely manner. I don't know what genre you want from this, but if your serious about making an "orchestral" track i'd invest in a VST like Albion 3 - I know money may be tight and you may not be able to access these types of high quality resources which is why I am offering my help. Best regards, CK.

That probably was the best comment i ever got, thank you very much for the neutral critisism!
I appreciate it! i will change the cymbals, i would have anyways, this is just the starting phase of the track.
Im using Action strings, strikes and session strings, i dont really have anything else, since it costs money.
Much money.
But i will check out albion 3 and if its good i will get it.
I will change the project and try to fit in other Fx etc., please keep being around so i can hit you up!
