this kicks so much ass i truly love it, the quality is perfect, the arrangement is very nice, the bass is a live, keep it up and tell me where i can find this in wav format :)
that was scary .. very dark indeed, not sure i like this kind of dubstep but i like the second part more than the first, now excuse me i think my ears are bleeding
relaxing and soothing beat... love the intro, i am just not quite sure what comes after fits what you started with,
skipbeat drums and jungle gongs are always nice but they keep looping on and on and on, maybe try to make it more interesting towards the end, so it builds up to something.
cheers and great job you got me listening till the end
You are soooo right. I know what you're saying exactly. My thoughts were the same before posting the track. I'm using lp member's loop contribution and I'm no where near being classically trained. I'm still confused on how to progress my tracks properly with what I'm given.
Thanks for your excellent review and all the shared incite you have reinforced in my future music forays.
PS I'm really glad it relaxed you for sometime. Peace
hey man i only recently started going in dubstep myself. there are two main problems with this track.. the drop isnt loud enough, and dubstep is all about the drop. this sounds nothing like dubstep.
the second problem is with those weird drums that kick in at some points, they are way too loud my meters peaked which means youre track has distorted parts that needs fixing, make sure everything is normalized to avoid that.
as a first try i think you did a very decent job, listen to more dubstep to learn there techniques i recommened sabrepulse and Skism
i think the drop was a bit too loud, not heavy but loud as in i had to take my headphones of. noisy rather than heavy, i like the bass alot, but you need to add more variations to that sound wobbly sound like when you did around 3:00. iunno i like it but i think it is good but i also think it could be Great
this is without a doubt one of my favorite tracks, i really love what you did with the bass, id say very melo dubstep but its just the mood it put me in. cheers man
nice arrangement but takes very long to kick in, i would make the bass kick in much much earlier, for me i would just skip the whole intro and start straight from 3:00 in. cause the bass and the vocals are just awesome just add more and make it more interesting, i know this was in feb. but you still have this featured
hey man, nice work, i been personally trying at dubstep and not really doing anything impressive yet, this is what i did so far https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/79624
and compared to your work mine is a random piece of crap .
great work cheers
i am currently downloading a lot of your loop to see what i can come up with, cheers this track sounds like a preview of the loops rather than a thing of its own, thanks alot for sharing
Thanks a lot douf! And yeah it kind of is a preview of the loops, but with a little TLC. I left it minimal to emulate the the memory capacity of an 8 bit cart. Thank for listening!~Cheers
around 1:20 a completely different tune kicked in than what i been expecting, the background sounds, xylophone sound much darker than the foreground synth. keep it up and keep them coming
nice job i really like the flow in this one, it just has a really slow intro, i thought the drums could use a louder kick, but you fixed that around 1:30 .. keep it up
i love the bass my room is vibrating :), again same advice more variations on the drums, more synths, i simply love the intro and i just think you should incorporate more of it throughout the track, up to 1:00 everything is flowing smoothly then the excitement reaches its peak and slowly fades away as the track progresses
Thank you Douf, the new live drum break is being laid down this week, it should drive the track better than the loop. You are quite right it does tail off, I will take a look at adding another breakdown/build up to add more excitement. Thank you for your advice Douf.
nice cuts, i really like the flow, but. you know this loops on 1:37, that keeps repeating throughout the track? you need to add more variations to it right now its in the foreground and very repetitive i think
great work
well ... i hate fusion, but this is just my taste, i like the compo i think its rock solid, i didnt hear anything offbeat, it sounded dark-ish and creepy-ish, but thats fusion i think like sitting inside a microwave what do you expect from that.
great work
ill be very honest with you, this is very very monotone-y, you used one loop for drums, one loop for bass, and looped the guitars over and over again, now there is nothing wrong with that but it could have used more variations, also no all the guitars were at the same volume some is louder than others. so id say.. good job and hope the next one is better
