REALLY nice work. Tons of talent on display here. Haven't heard the original, but I'll have to assume this is a fitting tribute because how could it not be?
I disagree that the vocals need any re-recording at all - the volume and harsh issues others are expressing are really just that it could use some compressing and maybe some frequency taming in that higher range... that is to say, there's nothing actually wrong with the vocals themselves. Great work.
I really like what you're saying here... i'm no pro and not looking to ever be one. Just enjoying what I do with what little talent I have, none in the recording area as I wish.
I appreciate your honesty. THANK YOU
Definitely a bunch of stuff out of tune, but I think it just barely scrapes by as just sounding like jazz methods to make the song sound darker and spookier. Not something I'd recommend chancing in the future, though.
I like it, but I can't unnotice that the bass is out of key with the other instruments at one of the regular repeated chords, makes for very jarring listening. Other than that nice song though.
Thank you very much SadGhoster87 !! Yes it's probably because of Lead and Pluck that it reminds of the Alan Walker. For acapella I had it in my banks of sounds, I had tried many others but it is this one that seemed to me the best for this music :D
Really liking this. I love the fakeout at the beginning, where you think you're getting a different beat than you actually get. The beat pauses are also nice, especially the second one. I actually thought the track just had a sucky ending, but I was fooled! I think the kick drum was mixed a bit too high, but if that's stylistic choice then ignore me on that. I also like the little b-section breakdowns. Too many people can't vary their beats.
Great job! The drums are quite a bit louder than necessary, but it's overall very nice. I absolutely loved the transition into the bass drop, which I thought worked very well. The only thing I can recommend for this one is to turn down the kick and snare, otherwise it's perfect.
I've always been a fan of that sort of Jack Ü/Zedd snare that you used. That being said, the drop here feels a little out of place, and possibly out of tune? Other than that (maybe a few smoother transitions or a leadup to the drop could help), I really like the remix. I don't know the original song, but from what I can tell you did alright with it.
Thank you for the feedback. Believe it or not, there was more things going on in the record but I ended up pulling a lot of stuff because it was muddying up the mix. I put some things back in after multiple listens. As far as transitions go, I tried to add more things but none of it really work. I haven't done a record like this in a while. Appreciate the comment.
This is really good! I love it! I infuriatingly can't find anything technical to comment on, so this isn't very useful feedback (sorry), but I do like this and am gonna listen to more of your stuff. High quality!
I don't know why it's trendy to classify trap as heavy metal but if you could not do that, that would be nice. Otherwise, it's a good beat. The synth that comes in at about forty seconds in doesn't seem to gel very well with the rest of the beat (it feels too loud also), but other than that it's pretty solid.
This is good! Everything flows together quite well, I love the one high guitar part, and the way it mixes old-school hip hop style with the hard-hitting feeling of new trap. I think it's the clipping drums. A lot of people will say you need to fix those, but I've always liked the more powerful sound they give a mix.
OOH I like this! The pianos had me hooked and the rest just flowed along with the same vibe. I think I ascended to a different plane a little bit when the bass kicked in.
Thanks man! I appreciate it. Believe it or not, the piano in the beginning and end were actual last minute additions. I almost didn't have them. As for the bass, I made sure it was fat and rich. I'm really happy with this track. Cheers!
If it contains multiple types of instrument, the solution is not to falsely post it as a track, the solution is to separate the instrument loops and upload them separately.
I'm sorry, but I do not think it's a loop since it's not quite a loop because it contains base and sounds ... PS: I've already seen that comment and I'll do what seems to me to be the right thing to do.
Hey, after you commented on my track I came to check out your profile and I love this! It's so hard, yet also chill. I guess you have experience in that regard! My only complaint, really minor, is that the super highs (like the white noise downlifters) are a bit too loud, and stick out over the rest of the track. But it's just my opinion, nothing wrong with the song.
