You said it's on all streaming sites, so I'd love to listen to it on Spotify! What's your Spotify artist name? Also, if you're wanting to sing on a song of mine I'd make something just for you :)
I know this is my third time commenting on this song but I seriously can't stop listening to this! This is truly professional level and deserves to be popular! Honestly you could probably get signed to a label and produce an amazing album. I could imagine you doing something like Lukas Graham.
Thank you so much! It's on all the streaming sites and stores if you want to share it around haha. Honestly though, glad you like it so much. Doing an album for a label is definitely the dream. If you ever have a song you think I'd be a good fit for, definitely would be interested!
Wow, that kick is loud! Pretty dope beat! The bell that comes in around 50 seconds could use some improvement, maybe just reverb, maybe use a different sound. All around this is pretty cool though!
Really cool, interesting track again! I absolutely love the arpeggio around 23 seconds, and the sound design is great all around. Really unique track, cool vocals, not much to critique :)
I've found, yet again, that Sytrus just does not satisfy me in an audio fashion. I can't hear even this without thinking "plastic." It's how I've always described the synth, and I was starting to feel different, as in patriotic, but it's not lasting, also like patriotism. I will improve the song pretty soon. Thank you for listening, and I apologise for posting something I couldn't be sure of.
This is really sick! The whole flow of the song and the vocals are so well put together, and the production is superb! Really look forward to hearing the whole song :)
This is awesome! The vocal chops and other melodies are so smooth. I can't judge the kick because I'm listening on crappy phone speakers, but if the kick is solid then I don't think there's anything to critique.
Hey Melodic Dreamer. Thanks man. Yea, there are a lot of talented people on this site. I need to start reviewing more people. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.
Not bad, your music is certainly improving! I would have loved the drop even more if you had added a big detuned saw chord playing with some attack. It was still cool without that tho. Your mixing is one point for sure though, very well done!
Wow, this is sick! It could use one or two more more elements, probably to play some chords. But the kick and sub are brilliant! This makes me wish I could rap, lol :) Very well done!
Wow, this is pretty good for your first EDM song ever. I know my first song was certainly not this good. I think the composition of the song is a little generic tho. Keep going tho, and never stop experimenting with new ideas. Look forward to hearing more from you.
I love simple descriptions. They are easy to read.
lol, dope production though, I'm really digging this! I absolutely love the piano sound and the simple elements around it compliment it well. Fave'd!
Nice piece here. The vocals and guitar are superb, and the mix brings that out. My favorite part was the guitar section around 2:10, that was so smooth. All around good job!
Wow, this is so well done! The beat is absolutely fire and the vocals and scratching go with the beat perfectly. Although my style of music is very different then yours, I'm always inspired by your music because I can tell how much you care about the quality of your music and as a result, it's always top notch. Keep it up!
Really loving this song! I actually thought the voice effect (is it a vocoder?) fit pretty well, and all of the changes sound great. I'll be looking for new songs you come out it.
Coming back to listen to this again, I realized that I hadn't given a suggestion for the name. I'm not brilliant when it comes to naming songs but I might go with Takeoff, or something along those lines because the song feels like it's a journey through space. Sounds cheesy I know, but oh well ;p
Awesome track, this is really impressive! A few things to consider: For the intro, you could add a simple arpeggio to make things interesting from the start. The hi hat that comes in at 41 seconds doesn't sound like a very high quality sample, I would remove it. I might add a little something more during the breakdown at 1:37, maybe the arpeggio that I suggested for the intro? The clap that comes in at 1:52 is a little dry, I would add some reverb. At 3:17 when the lead melody comes back in it caught me off guard and was a little confusing. I thought that the outro at 3:00 was good, and instead of bring the lead melody back in, I would have taken everything out except some minimal drums. Finally, something that I like to do to make my drops more impactful is to automate the master volume about 3% - 10% lower during the majority of the song and then raising it the instant the drop begins. This can make the drop sound significantly louder. Hopefully these ideas help you. Also, don't think that I disliked the song in any way. I absolutely loved it, I just want to give you some things to perfect, and help you get into that Music Production school.
Good luck!
Thanks! i'm definitely going to add a arpeggio. i totally forgot about that. right after i uploaded this track, i put some more reverb on the claps, so thats done. I will delete that lead melody on the end(3:17).
I'm glad you like the track! it really means a lot to me.
thank you for your help man!
Sounds like some Porter Robinson here, nice job! If you're making this in Caustic then I can't wait to see what you can create once you get something better! I know for me it made the world of a difference when I upgraded.
