more vocal volume on this track, maybe even more lungs on the vocalist part, sounds like they could sing it better louder, but there holding back, volume wise, the vocals are hiding behind the rest, should be leading other than that mix wise is sounds pretty good
thanks for the review. yeah, i know the vocals leave a bit to be desired, they're really just a scratch track to make sure the lyrics and melody worked ok together. they're to be redone from go once i redo all the music. thanks for the advice though, every little bit helps=)
chill track all around, there was a piano or organ kind of accent type sound in the background that i thought should stick out a little more, like that particular sound was a very defining part of the character of the song at that point but it was a little low, I found the track overall very hypnotic & relaxing, also i felt classier after hearing it, if that makes any sense..
i dig the hxll out of the vocal styles, once again songs like theese make me wish i had people in my area i could make music with, good stuff, definatly dig the aucoustic/electric constrasts
i like it, never heard the original, but the music is good and the vocal style was pretty raw, keep shXt like this coming, this is hooky as hell, i think the mix could be smoother on some parts, but im not trying to throw stones in a glass house haha
lmao you got me with the name alone, i almost got my youtube deleted for posting that shiz, noby ever recovers completely from the dwyer experience, freaking fondue fountain of gore!
im digging the vocal style but im not hearing everything except the chorus its alot louder but the verses in the begining are low the groove and synths are fXXkin raw! hard pounding too! for real the melodys are addictive, lots of people try for melody but never acheive it, but you have in a hard way! right at about 3:00 were the changup occurs there is a loss of hiss/ ambience that kinda disturb the flow a little bit if you could fade that out or somthing rather then the abrupt cutoff, it would sound smoother, but its a great track so it dosent really take much away, but since i try to give constructive meaningfull reviews i had to point it out ;)!

about guitar sound (your ? in the review of my song, im now realizing you play) aside from adjusting the eq/mix after recording the guitar i think a lot of the definaition of the sound comes into volume levels and there realation to the other layers of sound, basically when i decide im far enough along in the creative process & i need to take control of my mix, i turn everything down or mute it, then i start with drum eq/ vol then guitars then bass then other misscellanious noise anyways, point being how musical layers are somewhat defined by the sequencial order you do your volume and eq mix in? if that makes sense?
but yeah no shXit great tune! kinda reminds me of a local industrial dude in the states here called bolt, you can check him out on myspace, i think you could appreciate some of his "mix" techniqes....
awesome drum beats/ volume cresendos reminds me of ministry/ old electro industrial the instrument notes are suttle overall but they also have a good groove/hook,
prety good "cha" sounds in intro sounded like some manfredini work haha! over all a good soundtrack fel to it, but still kinda techno industrial dancish beats, i like it~ the whole fiesta measure kinda threw me for a loop though
Im digging it, I kept expecting a beat to kick in but it never did, maybe some slow riding percusion could drag it out or somthing? It was a short piece of music but cool!
good shXt hillarious selction of samples, neww like all of them except for one, the overall style was pretty good too, a litle repetitive like it needed a litle more variation of riffs, but its stil gets the point across
I Suck at techno sub genres, so im gonna call this ill kick your head off and punch your teeth out your aXXhole "core" >;) for real this shXt is slamming raw visceral you need some vocals/lyrics over it that are just as nasty, one of the few songs on this site that actually utilize my sound system nice too hear some one else grew out of there hewlett packard playback monitors
Great middle eastern noises, twanks all around nice looming feel to this, wish i could spawn sounds similar to theese but just not were i can go in my own head right now!
definatly cinematic, has a like cold hard truth fel to it, like the music in the scary real youtube wake up conspiracy videos! only it maybe could have had was a strong breakdown and buildup but the mix all around is clean as hell!
Why thank you man! I will keep the heavy breakdown part in mind next time i make one of these kinds of songs! I think ima make a fake rediculous conspiracy video with this song in it. Thanks for the idea! heh heh
Thanks for taking the time to have a listen, its always good when another guitarist likes ye stuff.Just checked your songs out as well quality songs there all of them, into my industrial metal alot at the moment, and i would add all of them to my collection.
Aside from the song i think the whole bridging the gap of distance and age with your son via music is cool as hell, the song is pretty good too i like the dark funk feel, this definatly has a little bit of a underlying sinister feel about it!
Thanks for listening, yes it's fun to make music with the boy,we just need to do it more often. He gets credit for the song.I'm glad you caught the dark funk vibe.

good track fenris, i definatly like the syths in the midle al over the scale, living on the edge haha! would like to hear the kick and snare a litle more, there pounding though for sure but its like there begging to be heard more! also was expecting a more elaborate ending, overall the sounds are thick and used well god job, on this suspensfull track!
i like the track but everytime i hear fake guitars in a good track i wana re record them with real guitars ! i like the track over al though for real the beat is driving sharp and crisp.
