Real laid back and I like the panning/tremolo effects you got going on with the melody. You transitioned really well into the reversed sample and into the synth ride out.
This could work great with a rapper or even as a segue between tracks. Can't believe this has been played several times and not reviewed yet. Good work.
Thank you for your impression. Because English is not detailed, I am writing while examining it in the dictionary. The thing that was able to run by music each other is an above all treasure. My best regards because music will be made in the future.
Always impressed by the peeps who can make rock tracks from loops, be it partially or entirely. The groove of this was nice...hard guitars but you mixed them well so they just flowed with the drums nicely. Kudos, my man.
I could definitely see this being bumped in the club. The drums just got that vibe that make you wanna move. The effect your ran the guitar through made it blend in nicely with the synth, without losing it's "rock" feel.
Nice track, man. Good to have you back in the mix.
Really digging how you kept this beat fresh by bringing in new elements to support it throughout. The synth you used for the hook was disgustingly nice and fit really well with the kick/snap drumline.
For a beat in progress, this is sick dude. Looking forward to the finished piece.
Man...we've all been there, huh? Great idea here. Even if you had no description, the first thing I would think of is "man, sometimes there is just NOTHING on TV. What am I paying for all these channels for when I only watch a handful?".
Are you on the vocals? They're great and your use of other sounds really set the tone in this. Props.
Anyways, this is cool, definitely fitting of the title. It sounds like an intense chase scene. I could even see someone rapping on this as you seem to have nice transitions from the main beat to the part with the synth horn and back.
I like the contrast between these spacey, airy synths and the busy drumlines. The rhymes were nice and whoever did the hook, his voice sounds a bit like Kokane.
i loved the synth you had panning around in a slow 360 around the track. it was the perfect piece to hold it all together. the track just builds and builds and you get this sense of frenetic desperation for about 4.5 minutes. When you changed it up, I got the sense of being one of those people having managed to escape only to watch his home self-destruct before his eyes.
Damn dude, this is a fun track. You flow nicely and you ride a good balance between lyrical technique and humour.
As well as you handle the mic, your production here is the true star. This is probably one of the most intricate and creative hip-hop productions on this site. Props.
Yo, those samples are actually just stock ones from GarageBand and/or Logic Pro.
I like this beat and what you did with the sitar loops here. Maybe play around with the effects on the hi-hats. They seem a bit louder than the rest of the drums and overbear them. A bit of reverb or compression...i dunno?
That percussion loop you brought in towards the end was great. Get that puppy involved earlier. It works. Overall, you got a hot track in progress here. Props.
Really interesting to see the variety of different sounds being used by peeps here to back Zach's vocals. This beat was definitely nothing close to what I expected to hear but it is brilliant. I never thought such a dark beat would work backing Golden but it definitely did. The beat is great, love what you did with the hook and it's mixed very well too. Great stuff.
thank you very much Mr.Russel
i think Zach is an extraordinary artist and his recorded files are very easy to handle with....
they always have enough space to create something totally different
If nothing else, I have to applaud your use of The Warriors sample since I used the same one on my instrumental here called Junky.
The drums hit hard here but for some reason, I can't really feel the piano until towards the end of the beat. Regardless, I was able to ignore it for the most part because of your solid flow. Nice track, all three of you.
I can't decide whether I love the skittering drums or just wanted a reason to type "skittering". Either way, it's a great collage of melodies over the skittering drums. Skittering. Skittering. Skittering. Skittering.

I liked how this airy melody just floats over the hard drums. Good job on making it drum-driven, it really worked well holding the piece together during the changeups. Almost heard an electro freakout about to happen for a few seconds (almost). Nice track.
hey jack russell, thanx for reviewing my track! i'm gonna try and make a few more tracks like this, so please check back, i'd love to hear what you think!
I wanted to review this earlier this week but I didn't get the chance to after I listened to it. However, it did get me to listen to your other stuff. MrE said what I wanted to: you have a unique style, man. Your choice of instruments always has something that makes me say "shit, I NEVER would have thought of that!" and you always got solid drumlines.
You know, this song had a disconnected feel to it but I was really digging that part of it all. I love the drums during your verses, how it's all banging and flying along before the synth pad sweeps in and slows everything down.
The synth leads in the verses sound like they are very slightly off-beat but that could just be the reverb or something or you might have even done that on purpose. It doesn't take away from the song but I thought it was worth mentioning.
I really like how that background sound texture comes out for a peek during the silence between your words. It's too bad actual radio shows are dead. You have a voice that would make Orson Welles think we were being attacked by aliens.
heard this in an earlier form. sounds great and the vocals are mixed well. catch-22, you did your thing on this.
a simplified instrumental version of this would be awesome. Catch brings enough to this track that you don't need to do all this added stuff on the beat such as the scratches and constant percussion changes. They don't really add anything that isn't there and they take away from the lyrics a bit.
As a whole though, this track turned out great. Solid on both of y'all.
great piano roll sample. i liked how you swung those horns in after a bit. just solid work all around here, excellent sample usage and layout, man. props.

I have a feeling that with all these dope mixes going around, catch is gonna be the only one bumping songs about dancing pickles in his mp3 player.
Truth be told, you have a very melodic flow. The beat to this is very old school. You guys are all gonna shame my song. lol.
