Smooth track man... way to to keep bangin' them out. digging the phasey goodness and the droplet sound in the background. If I could add one small critique it would be to see if you could add a breakdown in the middle somewhere, for texture. Nice track track though. I hope you are going to get someone to spit on this!

on Feeling Good by SPENCERDUBBIN
Hey Spencer, I agree with the previous poster... try adding. A mid bass line maybe an octave higher and add an lfo for a bit of wobble maybe add a bit of reverb as well. It is a great foundation for a track. Tweak the mess outta sucka' and push that new MAC to its limits.

Reply: add reverb to what ever you want... :) just think the track could use a little more sense of space.

I like the way the track starts off... you have a good sense of phrasing and timing...would love to hear this track with a little more instruments like strings and a pad.

on Monster by Protege
Agree with Big Ced... this track has great movement to it with a Kanye type of feel. I don't know if it is me but the track seems like the hats are low or that there are not enough highs on the track maybe add a tambourine or something like that on every other bar or downbeat. Just my opinion, the track is nice as it is.

on swallow ya soul come get some by senciman
Nice intro had me hooked long enough to hang out and listen to the rest! great work on the samples and the arrangement had my head bobbing... The bass was a little heavy on the distortion though, I kept wanting to hear more of that clean Matrix-Like glitch on the bass.(just my 2cents) Good track man! keep it up!

on Smoothness by SDUBB303ENT
I agree w/Highlearning, The melody is smooth but the track needs some kind of banging drums (minimally placed) to let your feet touch the ground every once in a while. Good work!

on Never Can Get Enough by RyckStylz
Way to experiment, nice direction. I do feel like there could be something in the background like a pad to help connect the offbeat sample, so it doesn't seem so start and stop like. good job!

on Da Heater by GenyuForce
Liking the flow... has a nice feel to it. I think the vocals are a little too hot as well as the gunshots, if you push them back just a little in the mix the effect will still be in your face but with a bit more swagg. Nice!

on with a shot gun by dannysmith173
I don't know if I'm feeling the whole track, but those damn KEYS!!!! they are sugar coated buttery goodness Love that sound. the drums are arranged really well like they are loaded on the front of the beat. (i hope that makes sense) The melody of the keys and horns/strings clash for me; like the strings are really on the side of dark compared with those smooth keys. The track sounds like you know what you are doing though. Just my 2cents.

LIVE! Love how the track feels like it rocks you back and forth... uptempo synth and snare are in the pocket. Nice melody, not overworked and simple. Like being in a cocoon; recharging before waking back up.

Man that's as smooth as churned butter... I dig it. You might want to shorten the intro a bit to hold interest, and love the way the whistle kicks in!

on Awakening by digitalenigma0
For all the elements that are in this track, they play well together nicely! Very,Very Focused energy on the track.(definitely has direction). The Synth/melody has a nice way of moving forward and behind the timing of the drums.(active listening keeps me on toes so I don't miss the other intersting sounds) Also I love how you break up the sections with very interesting sounds. I can't imagine how you put something like this together, for me it would be like orchestrating a riot.

Nice One!

Biiiig sound, I like! Enveloping... I like the fact that the melody is not predictable, but simple(in a good way). I was expecting a different type of track, but was pleasantly surprised!

on The Power - Electro house type thingy by aktolman
I agree with Spivkurl... the bass is right in the pocket on this one! I was a little put off of by the beginning, but the snare has a good tone and the hook/melody is not at all tiring. Nice one!
aktolman
aktolman replied Unknown
Nice one for the review man!

When you say put off do you mean because its a little boring, or because of my silly filtering? I think i need to get some more samples in there and stuff to liven the intro probably. Maybe remove that filter thing i did at the beginning as well.
